Creating another Custom Grind Mizzy Set!
This Year my goal is to buy one of every killer import club, thats right every good driver, irons, FW, putter, wedge etc etc.. just 1 of each for pic and review purposes. I like them a lot, its just I have 2 more personal sets of custom grinds coming and I would like to get ideas on a third. These never even came close to replacing my Gauge MB's, the only threat they would have is the new NC-1 CB coming out in June. Sorry this is not an option for us.

TSG is looking for 3 Golf Ho Bloggers!
We are preparing a golf blog that we would like a total of 3 contributing participating members to help us out with. Basically they would be E-mailing 1 short blog preferably with a pic once a week. That way we could have 4 completely different views on one blog and offer consistent updates. If anyone enjoys writing, has hit Tour, Import, and Retail equipment and is ready to help please let us know. FYI: Member must be a seasoned golfer with a good knowledge of most clubs and considered " in the know".

Switching to lighter shafts.
NS pro, is a good company, they make light shafts, not many men play them on the mini or PGA tour but a few LPGA players use them. They produce a higher ball flight and play weak to flex. They look and feel good but to the majority of U.S players they are too soft and hit to high. I just hit the 1150 shaft from them and its no Gem IMO, Its a heavy NS shaft that still balloons the ball for my swing. I have not hit the GD SL shafts yet.

2005 PRGR TR-X Duo2 10.5 Degree w/ Fujikura Tourspec Rombax
The Shaft needs to go! Axiv now Installed, Testing 9 holes later this afternoon. The hosel is no bother its just a bit more style than most are used to, its basically the same. Overall the quality of this beauty is amazing. Not many Drivers are made in Japan. It reminds me of the R7 in a way, Deep face, similar view from above.

So which did you end up keeping in the bag? If your looking for ultimate soft feel the less expensive Forged CNC milled Series is the softest.

Gauge Japan Studio H.Made Cavity Backs 2005
The Gauge H.Mades are sold out but the difference was the progression of the milled hump within the cavity. The Retail spec is called the NC-1 and has a smaller cavity that I guess would make it less forgiving. Still gauge Irons have always been more forgiving than almost everything in its player category. The differences between the old CBs and the NC-1 are huge, no more Japan shovel look on the short Irons thin top line very little offset, these baby's setup perfectly for the better player. I hit the NC-1 and its only a tad more forgiving than the MB's. The H.Mades have a different lighter finish on them also. http://www.tourspecgolf.com/modules.php?na...ewtopic&t=17156

Creating another Custom Grind Mizzy Set!
So I got the most recent set of Custom Grind Mizzy Irons in and just love them.. Id like to order another but need the feedback on what to get. Any Suggestions on setup, grind, finish, stampings/fill etc... I'm going to get them with the New NS Pro 1150's. There are currently mixed reviews on this shaft so I need to find out for myself.

CBS41 Popularity
Both bags are no longer popular. Many people are ordering the new Tourstage Carry Bag, its a tad heavier but built well. The Titty 41 was great but they stopped making it.

Gauge "Balde" Review
I would say oil it once every month or so. Also do not let Green fertilizer dry on any shinny/chrome finish, you will see a chemical reaction.

Gauge "Balde" Review
Nice Review...IMO its on the Money! The Balde is getting similar reviews from everyone. The Mega and Giga both feel Identical to the Balde but the Eldik M is a bit more crisp and firm.

Weight training
IMO it helps some and hurts others, For me being loose and flexible provides a higher SS. When I'm stiff from lifting weights my short game suffers, I feel like there is a lack of sensation or like my hands are feathers and everything above my elbows is heavy. My back swing is shorter when I am stiff and overall I get less rotation. I guess it depends on how hard and heavy you train. Yoga + Creatine + running would be an interesting stack that I would like to try... nah, I'm too lazy :tired:
