  1. They run 1250.00 3-PW shipped, takes 4-6 weeks you have your choice of satin, chrome, flat black or shinny black check out this link for stamping examples: http://www.mizunonetorder.com/cluborder/st...lub_kokuin.html You can also get the Japan only MP27's or make a 3 -tier or 2- tier combo. all shafts except Rifle PX and TC shafts are available. you can select the loft, lie, swing weight, and grip's You can also select the color paintfill you would like if its not to exotic. If you have anymore questions please feel free to drop me a pm or continue in this thread. Here are some pics of what IMO are the best looking setups enjoy: There is also the Custom Grind Option Mizunos which have all the same custom options and some very cool grind options like a thinner topline, less offset, box toe, small or big bounce etc.. they are 1499.00 Shipped .
  2. I have both the PX is better IMO, I don't know why but for me its tighter, longer, and more accurate. Some people say the PX is Bordy but I think it kicks lively when swung correctly.
  3. I think the TS-202's were bigger and more forgiving, while the XCB setup better to the eye and were also forgiving just not as much. I would select the XCB, still one of the easiest semi players CB to hit. IMO the Forged ViQ's are just as forgiving in a more compact package, especially the long irons.
  4. IMO the sole is much different. The X-Tour is more forgiving but doesnt feel even as close as good at impact. From a resale perspective, The X-Tours will be cheap soon. The MP-27s will not be. Both great clubs that you cant go wrong with.
  5. Good news! Mizzy will now offer Satin Chrome or Satin Nickel!
  6. Your a HO, Buy um both, test it out. IMO the X-Tours are overrated versus the amount of hype they are getting. Forgiving yes, but it doesn't feel as good as most Forged clubs noticeably the MP series by mizuno. The Scratch 05 Cb's I have hit also and feel great, Quality 1018 steel, great craftsmanship, made in Japan and available in a very cool satin finish.
  7. oooh ok wanna play like that...lol Im gonna get outside right now and give my wedge a bath in Shoyu and Hawaiian salt..... :spit: BTW guys contest ends April 1st...
  8. Again Precision comes up with some KILLER content. Thanks! Guys I have access to brand new Ping G2 Tours 400cc square face for the better player, USGA conforming with your choice of Graphite Design Japan shafts. This club has been released in limited quantities in Japan only and in a month or two will be all gone.
  9. Very nice and thx for the pics! J.P is using a 10.5 driver, I love it when pro's use higher lofted clubs, it goes against what so many of us Ho's wont do. I wonder what kind of plug is in place of the V logo piece, looks like Jesper likes a heavier head driver.
  10. This being in the Tour/Import area I will throw in some JDM options for you all. Let me first start by saying, I don't really see any difference in FW heads for a Strong player vs an average player, yes the better player will like a higher C.O.G, deeper face, square to open face angle etc but so will the average player. IMO the GAF1 by Gauge Japan is best of all for these reasons: - It was designed taking the best aspects of the V-Steel ( rail sole) , BBD Type H ( shape and profile ), Tourstage FST ( rear cut away for a high C.O.G ), and the Olimar hot metal 2 ( miraging face ) all into one. face angle is .5 open to square. other options i highly suggest: - V-Steel ( retail or Tour don't matter ) - Royal Collections new C.V Pro - Sonartec SS 3.5 - Tourstage FST ( old model ) - Tourstage FST+ ( Made for very strong players ) - PRGR Hit Duo ( already to many on the JPGA ) - Mizuno Hotmetal ( after 5 years its still going strong ) Here is what the top pro's use: Tiger: Nike T60 FW VJ: Cleveland Launcher and Cally steelhead Els: Titleist 904F and 980F P.M: Big Bertha's Kaye: BBD Type H Chad Campbell: Nike T-40 Toms: Cleveland Quad pro Pampling: Steelhead plus Howell III: Big Berthas Carlos Franco: Fusion FW Craig Parry: Big Bertha & Steel Head Scott: Titleist PT15 Ryan Palmer: Sonartec SS-03 Zach Johnson: Sonartec SS-03 Cink: 975F Ames:Nike T-60 Michelle Wie: V-Steel Maruyama: V-Steel and MR-23 Appleby: old Precept Baddeley: PT15 Donald: BBD S.S Pro Daly: V-Steel Goosen:V-Steel Mike Weir: V-Steel & 200 Steel Tanaka: V-Steel & 200 Steel Garcia: V-Steel Funk: 200 Steel Tour
  11. Any raw unplated Carbon Steel wedge or iron will rust that much if left outside. Although that is one super rusted wedge! I will give away another free wedge if someone can come up with a wedge that beats Chris's wedge! Guys this has somehow turned into a REAL contest thanks to Ari at Scratch Golf. That means someone can clean house collecting a DVD and 2 new scratch wedges and all they have to do is show us a more rusty wedge than mine. EASY!! I could beat my own wedge with a RAW head, salt and a damp towel.
  12. I'm happy you got it, thats all my cut and paste work from the plane ride on my way back from the show. Its like a funky 45min long music video of hardcore JDM golf equipment. There is one part where the camera man ( member: junior ) and the Tourstage rep share an intimate moment holding an X-Drive together :nos**t: its gay
  13. Guys not many of you know this but recently a very limited model was released called the TR900 limited. here is the Old TR-900 retail, a great Iron still Here is the limited version already sold out at PRGR, I have 2 on hold for VIP customers:
  14. Im not entering, my wedge is just an example. This contest is just a fun way to give some stuff away.
  15. Just go ahead and drop me a PM. or you can click contact US on the TSG main page. Thats a good question I have never asked, I will find out.
  16. This is natural from the weather in Hawaii. This wedge lives outside.
  17. Anything goes! The wedge in the first pic is RAW :surprize:
  18. Can you take a clean pic of the i404 top profile please? Heck while your at it, why dont you do a WITB for us
  19. Hey guys I'm about to place an order for 4 custom grind M stamp Iron sets from the Mizuno Factory in Japan. So far my personal set will me MP32's with no offset, slightly thicker top line, slightly square toe. M stamp Satin finish. I would also like to order 1 set of custom MP27's and 2 sets of combos one 2-Tier and one 3-Tier with the same top line sole and offset profiles in the combo making it a true flush and matching set. I need some suggestions on what in your guys opinions would be the best. You guys will get a ton of good pics when these come in of course and 3 of the 4 sets will be sold to lucky TSG'rs.
  20. Who has the most rusty wedge of them all? I know a bunch of you are thinking your wedge is the most rusty wedge out there but your wrong... Mine is...lol Here is the contest for the month of March. He with the #1 most rusty wedge wins a brand New Made in Japan OTR scratch prototype 47* Pitching wedge shafted with an S300, Another Scratch Wedge (2 Wedges Total!!), and a Tokyo Golf Fair DVD. Please keep pics in this thread, please try to post clear pics also. And the winner will receive a Tokyo Golf Fair DVD and this Beauty: Good luck all pics must be in the last day of March, the winner will be announced April 1st!
  21. IMO it has nothing to do with price really, I would say more with performance, feel and rebound off the face. There is also grades of this in different countries and manufactures at different prices and mineral make ups, If we judge the metal from a non golf stand point and base things on cost SS303 and SM490A would be considered cheap materials that they use to make buildings etc with. In the case with this driver its body is made of 15-5-3 and the face is some kinda beta Ti. All companies try to make a basic metal sound like super alloy
  22. I actually love the way the 975D feels! I have a 460cc 9.5 with the G shaft on order currently, I hit both the 395cc and 460cc models at the show into a net. The feel stands out on this club more of a muted thwock still not even close to as mute as the D. The 395cc version felt a little better IMO but i still went with the bigger 460cc size. Excited Yes very, I am hearing great things about this club and its going to be a tuff shoot out vs my CV Pro and DuO2 TR-X.
