  1. I think your forgetting we created an option to address these issues specifically - smooth sole. That said no one is saying that the standard Itobori sole has had a negative effect. I personally would go smooth sole for my mind. You can also order Arakenma grinds or you can even order Itobori with a normal grind smooth all over. No one needs to do hariline finish it can be smooth like every other iron. Finish you can order all the basics satin, chrome, black, raw, doesn't have to be a raging burning copper. Shape I think you can see this for yourself, the shapes are awesome. So it seems to me your having a hard time getting past the more eccentric options. I will produce some very basic designs for the purists to show the opposite end of the spectrum.
  2. I just posted photos of what the burning coppers look like up close here : http://www.tourspecgolf.com/blog/itobori-burning-copper-wedge/
  3. Run down in the blog, photos right here...
  4. That depends on the use. In the states or places without as many high speed turns S-Class is the benchmark but in many areas of Europe winding rodes I would choose Porsche.
  5. Worth a shot, give it a try in the 3 or 5. IF it's been tipped too much you will notice difficulty hitting it straight or turning it over. If your tempo is aggressive it may be a little light for you but still go for it!
  6. Yup personals will make you happy, soft and easy to hit. What I request is you post some info about your game, especially your visual preference as blade players are among the most discerning in this regard.
  7. MT's clubs are made extremely well. As he becomes more popular it will be interesting to see how he handles the workload. My advice to him is to never compromise I'd rather see him slow sales by lengthening lead time over outsourcing the work. Combo set in hand looks sublime -
  8. I've never heard of these before just shows what a noob I am. Both Cesare Attolini and Kiton look amazing, am I correct to say they seem to focus more on jackets that have a design on them? I'm currently and temporarily living in Italy so a trip to Milan may be in the cards and with a favorable euro rate and the lack of 22% vat perhaps a deal is to be had. THIS - fit and trim is key.... I fail. hoping to buy my game like I must in golf.
  9. Never heard of this shaft. Have a look again and tell us what it is. Next is you want to match the head to your swing and the shaft to your swing more than you want to match any head with a shaft. 41.35" tipped too much sounds like the shaft "may" be no good already. depends on what you want to put it in and how fast you swing. It will play much stiffer than a 6.9.
  10. Bending and Grinding from a raw heavy head, so it's still made from scratch. No one makes a 64* mold so all 64*'s are made this way.
  11. Sorry there are only loft stamped heads closest to 64 is 60.
  12. Wow this is hard, ok 250 credit. must have brand and model name.
  13. You may choose the weight on the heel, the heavier the weight the more help in producing a draw and an increase in head weight. The standard head weight is 196g, and heel side weight is 8g. Only the heel side weight can be changed and only by the factory. The available weights are 4g, 6g, 10g and 12g that will increase or decrease the draw bias of the head.
  14. The wedges retail at 295 per head full custom with any option included. Yes Irons can be had with all the same options. 64 can be done but loft stamping will say 60* ( raw head come from the factory lile this ) so I would suggest wrighting 64* somewhere else on the head.
  15. Clue : It's original finish is black. This brand has never been mentioned on TSG. It has been mentioned on WRX before.
  16. A quick google search will show you that putter is not this one. Please don't just throw names out there for the sake of it.
  17. Copper Wedge + Smooth Sole Option + Polished Option This is what we came up with the idea that the standard itobori sole wasn't as good for turf performance as a smooth sole. full write up in the blog. pics right here.
