  1. I have just confirmed with Ryoma directly that if the FW head has no serial # it is a fake or it was removed and tampered with. All Fairway woods have serial #'s
  2. I will get some clarity on this issue for you and post it up in this thread shortly. I will say that we have seen many more fake Ryomas and also PRGR in recent so be careful especially on ebay.
  3. Ill give you guys the full run down shortly.. a powerful tid bit is he is responsible for co-development of materials and processes that many of you guys already use, also these have won many tournaments every year on the U.S PGA tour for multiple players of multiple brands. tens of thousands of players already use drivers he has designed, dozens of pros, many winners on tour.
  4. Another 400g beaut by Rock Wu. Sasaya added some sole weights too.
  5. Yes it's for sale. The only thing from Gold's was insert the heavy tungsten weights on the sole bringing this to 400g total head weight, the refinishing was done by another factory in Japan and everything else is from Areso. What makes this putter unique is the lack of stamping on the sole as it had to be pulled from production at a particular moment to have it like this. This is a Rock Wu design.
  6. Heads only have arrived. Customers with shafts still waiting. Beyond power shaft now available with 2016 head.
  7. Someone was bored.
  8. Members are loving the ability to order custom. For diggers and steep swingers the popular options have been: - wider sole - more bounce - more rounded leading edge - more leading edge relief Some have been ordering the opposite like razor thin sop line, less offset, and all sorts of cool grinds. He can even duplicate the Hokkaido grind!
  9. Write up here - http://www.tourspecgolf.com/blog/areso-custom-c90-putter/ Done up by golds it's now 400g. perfect for counter balance. perhaps 50g in the grip would be nice.
  10. Yes but CNC milling grooves on a pre-existing wedge is very expensive, over 300 bucks. not worth it. They will also be non conforming after.
  11. This was a brand new set that was refinished ( btw it's available ) When you say re-done, what does that mean? Grooves are pressed along with the sole # before the heads are ground. grooves can't be re-pressed later. they can be cleaned also known as re-grooving or cnc milled to non conforming.
  12. just your standard set refinished.
  13. Prior to Itobori he was known as wedgeman, his talent is in the shape. Main thing is our customers get what they want.
  14. I think your forgetting we created an option to address these issues specifically - smooth sole. That said no one is saying that the standard Itobori sole has had a negative effect. I personally would go smooth sole for my mind. You can also order Arakenma grinds or you can even order Itobori with a normal grind smooth all over. No one needs to do hariline finish it can be smooth like every other iron. Finish you can order all the basics satin, chrome, black, raw, doesn't have to be a raging burning copper. Shape I think you can see this for yourself, the shapes are awesome. So it seems to me your having a hard time getting past the more eccentric options. I will produce some very basic designs for the purists to show the opposite end of the spectrum.
  15. I just posted photos of what the burning coppers look like up close here : http://www.tourspecgolf.com/blog/itobori-burning-copper-wedge/
  16. Run down in the blog, photos right here...
  17. That depends on the use. In the states or places without as many high speed turns S-Class is the benchmark but in many areas of Europe winding rodes I would choose Porsche.
  18. Burning Copper!

    Very nice irons!

Worth a shot, give it a try in the 3 or 5. IF it's been tipped too much you will notice difficulty hitting it straight or turning it over. If your tempo is aggressive it may be a little light for you but still go for it!
  21. Yup personals will make you happy, soft and easy to hit. What I request is you post some info about your game, especially your visual preference as blade players are among the most discerning in this regard.
  22. MT's clubs are made extremely well. As he becomes more popular it will be interesting to see how he handles the workload. My advice to him is to never compromise I'd rather see him slow sales by lengthening lead time over outsourcing the work. Combo set in hand looks sublime -
