  1. A limited release model Nickel brushed finish Mizuno combo set was released last month but already sold out. There were two types for sale. a Goose neck spec and Straight neck. They both had bigger groves, shaved flat sole, copper underlay, with black finish on the bottom part of the back. here are the only pics I could find. I would have got them for myself but I was too late. Oh I wish I was on the ball for this one :wah: Goose neck spec
  2. SP104 is an old mans club. Dont do it! its set up for people 40 - 60 uears old. I suggest you try the GD w/ Tour shaft when it comes out in August.
  3. I haven't had the time to do this yet but here is what it looks like the process is from the tiny pics: 1) remove screws 2) cut out tiny rubber pieces from this blue rubber about one CM long and the size to super glue / epoxy to the end of the weight. 3) let it dry add a little more glue to double hold it 4) put the weights back in. I figure its for a more muted sound.
  4. TourSpecGirl uses the Adidas bag. It has a very comfortable strap, its good overall, My only complaints are its weight and it don't have an area for the umbrella.
  5. I agree the Deep is a great club except for its sound at impact. Other than that I consider it the equal to the R7. The W60 shaft you have in it Jack is the key IMO. I get so much more distance from the W60 over the W70. The honma is hard to control, I would suggest the W70 or a 584HK in it. Tai has an awesome driver also the two of you are some major freaks. Jack please post pics of your proto Nike T100's, your a lucky man!
  6. Yeah, I'm going to have to vote Tourstage also, precept does have a name as a 2nd rate company, but Tourstage didn't do a very good job with their Z series woods and wedges. They need to release all their Japan line in the U.S. Could you picture the X-Drive and F-ST stamped precept? :yuk:
  7. Thats good stuff Ari! MR. Ishihara had the #1 played wedge on the JPGA tour in 1999. His wedges are considered the finest in Japan. The company name is MOZ Ishihara and we are talking 350 - 580.00 per wedge that he hand grinds. From start to finish having him hand grind and build your wedges, it just cant get any better than that. I cant wait to see his work with the S stamp!
  8. The man in the Pics is Mr. Ishihara he is the person who does the Scratch wedge raw heads. Scratch wedges are forged in Himeji and stamped by Mr. Ishihara. Rumors have it that Scratch has a retail line hand made wedge made entirely from start to finish by Mr. Ishihara. Can Ari Confirm this?
  9. Yes, they are actually not making them foamed heads. I asked a lot of questions about the design and why its been 7 months in the making. I was shown what its exactly based off of. Its got the sole area of the V-steel, shape and profile of the BBD- type H, the rear undercut of the FST and miraging like an olimar. There will be a Tour series and normal the Tour series will come with a Graphite Design 75-80g shaft while the normal spec has a 55 - 60g shaft. This club has been through a lot of testing, I have returned mine but I was impressed to say the least. I think with the 80g shaft it may be able to knock the F-ST out. Only time will tell but there is a Mid August release date.
  10. So the black version are more expensive than silver? The reason why they are more expensive is because they make a small amount of the black ones compared to the silver ones. Some of the black ones have black or silver ingots also.
  11. FYI guys the logo is going to change also
  12. Some tiny pics of a wedge being hand  made Its Mr. Ishihara himself!
  13. Go to the gauge Japan website please and take a look at the prices and styles. Its actually right to left but i posted the opposite direction.
  14. I started off playing the normal version, then tried the TP. What i noticed was the TP has a softer feel ( not good soft ) kinda mushy on mi s**ts, but the S300 and TP head is what sold me, I never ever had a trajectory so nice on any club in the bag. If somehow I could fit all my clubs the same way I would in a heart beat. I am comparing it to the Rescue Mid TP. If you love to hit sweet long Iron shots I highly suggest it.
  15. They look the same to me except these precept clubs have what seems to be a lower quality finish.
  16. I was told recently from Tourstage that they will be making a major run at the U.S market under the name Tourstage not precept. The rep I talked to in Japan said they will dump precept and go for the glory trying to become very big on the PGA tour with most of the Japanese designs being sold in the U.S. The X-series clubs are scheduled for a change in fall 2005 but the entire X-series may come to the U.S in some form or another next year also. It makes a lot of sense to do this for they have built the large facility already. Currently they are phasing out the Z series till the stocks are gone, It had something to do with a lawsuit from Yonex in regards to using the Z label. While surfing BSG I noticed some cool pics of the XCb, X-wedge, and U.S precept proto and decided to send it to pro support via E-mail with a phone call. They were pretty surprised and had no idea that this was happening and later i got the reply that these were sent to the U.S un finished and precept did the finish themselves for tour use only. Its interesting that Tourstage wants to give the U.S market another try, a bigger try but do you think Tourstage should use the name precept or they should stick with Tourstage? Here are the pics from BSG I sent to pro support, sorry about the water marks :o So what do you think? What name do you think Bridgestone should use in the U.S market?
  17. The ones that are fairly safe on the wallet are the, Eldik, Silver version Tour One, Zero, & Three and most of the silver mallets. It depends on what your looking for a neo mallet, mallet, or anser style putter. To me the GD is known for their anser putters. Your still looking at 250 - 300 on any of these.
  18. Its a different neck style, face profile, pretty much just a refined Eldik made with aluminum and SS303. I putted with it yesterday and really liked it a lot. Should be released in September. I think the butt piece is the perfect length and face profile is perfect. they are 345g. The retail will be black.
  19. I'm open to suggestions, lets see what ya got Haribo. :smile1:
  20. The normal version is a little cheaper, Just drop me a PM for the price. The TP version 2U and 3U is what I play now and although I am not a huge TM fan, I love these clubs. No more 5 wood for me the 2U is longer and straighter, I play the driving Irons from the rough off the Tee and from pretty much anywhere. I have owned the Rescue TP, here are my answers to your questions, I hope you dont feel they are bias because I'm selling them. Distance: longer than the TP rescue of about equal loft Accuracy: Because it is an Iron It stays on line very well, with the rescue i could still get an OB here and there if along the edge and hit poorly with the rescue but with the TP Driving Iron I am very accurate and feel confident i can hit a green 230 out. Ease of hitting: very easy, Air Muscle, PRGR zoom, Fourteen are nothing compared to the new TP driving irons. The ball has anice trajectory with the S300 for me. The regular version is dumb easy to hit maybe Shokosugi will chime in, he is loving his regular version with stiff graphite shaft.
