  1. Very interesting results Ari! I noticed the Tourstage Drivers have a lower trajectory than the others and getting more overall distance. What driver is in the bag for you now? which driver do you think is the best of the ones tested in terms of feel, forgiveness, distance, trajectory etc? Thanks for posting that info, Its great stuff!
  2. Nike T100's get my vote! super easy to hit from any lie, feels like a small steelhead plus driver at impact. oh so very very sweet, now if i could just get mine id be a happy man.
  3. I have a meeting with Sasaya tomorrow and will ask him if he will ever be making a Golds Factory mallet. BTW did you know Sasaya is a former Gauge Japan employee?
  4. I just put the order in yesterday for the key chains both in the small size and large. I wont know a price till i get them but i will sell them below retail of course. I really don't like the direction Miura has been going for the last 6 months, The designs are mediocre and the style is getting weird. They do their best work when making someone elses clubs like TM or Nike. Old man miura and his son are heading down the wrong path IMO. Its time they hand the company to me..lol
  5. I don't know to be honest, but the only thing different i can see from the pic is the tungsten or weight screw. I just hope they make a square face 9*. The entire line really isn't that huge, they are all deep face, In fact the deepest faces I have ever seen. The 370cc is even deeper than the 510TP and R7 at 30cc smaller. My guess is that the type 405 will be about the size of an X-drive 390.
  6. I'm sure Cameron can give them almost any head weight the player wants, but if the player wants a heavy weight small headed putter they may have to add tungsten. I'm for Tungsten in the faces because tungsten is very brittle and will rust if located on the bottom where it tends to get wet. Also tungsten in the faces is harder to do and provides even less head twisting than if it were located on the sole. In my opinion as you already know P, Scotty is all about market luck and timing not top quality product. There are a ton of things he could do to make his product better even in regards to what the top pro's play and thats why many high end putter makers know their are a hand full of crafters who are twice as good as S.C. What many don't know is that all his retail putters are made in China and stamped in the U.S, we are talking very low quality for his retail offerings. I used to play only Cameron until I learned what real quality is, but a putters still just a putter and the quality issue is for the most part mental.
  7. Srixon has only made 300 sets of the PRO-100s for the Japan market. I have no clue why. In regards to the Wing Tees Long. I don't know the exact length.
  8. I agree, I have only seen the wedge in person and Miura has somthing about picking poor font, and bad design. Miurajism? The key chain is very nice though
  9. Im really excited about the Srixon 400cc driver and Srixon proto CB's. That Tommy Nakajima is one lucky guy, seems like all the brands love to build him special clubs. Maybe he is a HO! Hows that Scotty Tungsten putter!
  10. No release date yet but the Type 405 is 405cc and is shown up against the 340cc TR and TR-X 370cc.
  11. Here are just a few scans from August golf gear guide, the new miuraism boasts some kind of different forging system called W.D.D accurate forged. Check out that key Chain! Ive got 4 on order but they cost me 90.00 each :-D
  12. The Tourstage X-Blade CB is the most popular Iron on the JGPA. Tourstage to Japan is what TM is to America...huge! These scans are from the new August Issue of Golf Classic. It shows both satin and chrome XCBs with different top lines, face profiles, and offset for the individual players needs. Heres the shocker they are made in Himeji Japan not Endo :surprize: The Himeji forged ( same as the GD Irons ) and built X Cb's are stamped with Pxxxxxxx serial #s. very small differences so you must look close.Sorry for the slow loading time.
  13. Rumors have it the X-Drive 2 is 348cc's with a deep face. Tourstage may also change the name of it but its basically a proto for the next line they begin. after the X-wedge, X blade Cb's etc I have a feeling the X-series will be phased out for something new. My guess is in 2 years, I am also hearing that Bridgestone/Tourstage will be taking a major run at the U.S market in the next 3 years. They have the $$$ and the recourses and despite rumors saying they are pulling out, They are NOT leaving the U.S, TS is just getting rid of the Z-series and deciding what to do with precept. If Bridgestone markets their product in the U.S as they do in Japan they may have the same affect, huge success problem is the market in the U.S is so darn cheap in regards to buying quality product.
  14. The R7 is indeed a special club, For me its longer than most and just flat out forgiving helping me find fairways big time. Something has happened with my brain and the weights. I have gone from a small fade to a large draw, of course I realize its my swing/brain doing this not the driver. TM's marketing is unreal they upset club retailers with fluctuating prices yet create clubs the public loves and feels like they need. Hats off to TM for pretty much creating the tour market. The technology works, the I.C.T is what I think to be its greatest asset. I do find it not so forgiving with heel hits but what can you expect from a deep face driver. the weighting is a little tricky for me because of my random ball flights so I often switch quite often and yes I do it during the round  I know its bad but I'm very anti conformity, I don't carry a handicap and wont play in any tournaments and often pray for Donald trump to create a rival tour association with bigger money with a more modern look. I think TM has the driver of the year just as they did they last year and the year before, Its a winner and an actual improvement over what many thought could not get any better. The two R7's I own are not in the bag for TS girl and I but we have hit our longest drives in the fairway with them no doubt. Such a stable head and great product.
  15. Any more info about Zomo putters Chris? Absolutely no Info on Zomo yet, I will do my best tomorrow morning but I could not dig up a single word about Zomo from any source i have. I still think its a rich guy throwing around money. Japan has a ton of them and I to cant wait till I can get my hands on one.

More info to come!!
  17. Im not 100% posotive but from the top of my head: R7 M.A.X = Japan non conforming R7 = retail model lower C.O.G about a .5 closed face R7 TP = Square face higher C.O.G better shaft options R7 TP Tour = square - open face ( same as TP ) depends on the player it was built for. R7 XD = ???? maybe it will come, but it will be an R7 with some kinda new technology. R12 = :spit: You skipped the R9 or R900 series. :smile2: Isnt that the one out now?? :-D
  18. Yeah GD always asks me the same thing, would you like, 33.75" from shaft end or grip end. Thats Japanese attention to detail for you.
  19. I'm not sure but with the NS pros most often their are some lead plugs :-D maybe. I have seen it in some MR23 Cb's. All I can suggest is a change of grip or a different spec shaft.
  20. http://netinn.udn.com/community/forum/arti...&tpno=0&no=1221 Its getting rave reviews from all across the world. FAQ you are a world famous club photographer now!!
  21. I have demoed a GD Japan prototype putter code named the "Automatic " its amazing! an anser style head with an insert, one with aluminum and one with GSS. I thought the aluminum insert was softer and felt better. This putter has a newly designed heavy aluinser and tungsten ingots. No head twisting, soft feel, super easy to align and the aluinser is heavy causing the M.O.I to soar even on an anser head. I don't really care for aluinsers but after trying this putter it adds a ton of extra forgiveness to a traditional classic style. In this pic the proto aluinser In this pic the GSS insert Blue Aluminum Insert
  22. I own both and the J-Spec is now a paper weight. here is some info to clear up the confusion: Eldik retail : Nano Cast w/ SS303 weight piece Longer visual aid Prototype Eldik: SS303 w/SS303 weight piece short size visual aid Tour Eldik: SS303 w/SS303 weight piece mid size visual aid (blue/Red) J-Spec: SS303 w/ SS303 weight piece, but the weight piece is on the top :-D ???? to promote skipping and hopping of the ball :o I could not believe this but the ball hops and skips off the face rather than rolling true. Its just a proven fact the M.O.I is increased when the weight has a lower C.O.G. The face has milling marks as do all U.S gauges So what are the differences between he two companies?....Way to many to list so I will just state the obvious. Japan Gauge uses Japan steel from sumitomo and himeji, they use auto cad designs and plastic molds to create the product model then the protos are made and months of testing is done to make sure its up to standards. The faces are Flat CNC milled to promote less variables during ball contact and the aluinsers are absolutely flush unlike the U.S gauge putters that will eventually rust due to sub standard craftsmanship. If you do have a chance to hold a U.S GD putter rub your finger across the aluinser area, you will feel a drop where it starts and ends. example of non flush aluinsers: example of the way it should be: :logo: does not support Gauge U.S.A in any way shape or form, and thats a promise!
  23. Exactly...... :) Chris.. you are killing me by posting so many beauties!!! How do the new RC blades perform compare to Fourteen's TB-1000? One of my friend is looking for a new set of blades and Frouteen's TB-1000 just cataches his eye by far as of this moment. I have never hit these yet, but i suggest the Fourteens, they are more forgiving than MP33's and just so darn sweet looking. The Srixon Pro-100s are desired highly also due to the limited run and great performance. Most Japanese blades are more forgiving than your conventional blades except the MR23s. I do like how the RC blades are half satin half chrome.
  24. Very nice Irons, made in 1998 and probably the most expensive set tourstage has ever made.....why? The reason why is the entire insert is made of pure titanium. In Japan people say its sooo soft its like hitting a potato..lol
  25. Mizuno Combo Custom ordered set. about 1350.00 if ya want one :money: Only take 2 months!
