Yeah Japans got all the cool Nike stuff, Copper wedges, T100, Nike 380 Ignite, Nike Air Bidan ball, Titanium face pro combos, and a few others. Its amazing how poor their marketing is yet how great the product.
Imagine if Nike offered Satin custom stamp like Mizuno Japan does! :surprize: hmmm Nike Satin blades with the swoosh in top center.

I have to say the Nippon shafts are great. Obviously very lightweight, and I thought I may overpower them, but did not.
I agree, I'm thinking of swapping out the PX's for NS pro 1050's. NS makes such user friendly shafts and I'm a light shaft kinda guy. Great thing about them is they offer R, SR, S, & X flex's. I play 850's in my wedges because they help my feel.
-
I think they are softer than MR23 Cb's when struck well. I noticed the COG is pretty low on these making them easy to get up in the air yet the lofts are jacked up so they go looong. Its really a great sensation, but your first round you may be flying the greens and mis judging distance. The long Irons have a more shallow face with a deep cavity for an extra low COG. I love being able to hit a 3 iron with no problem
These are sold out until July and even then I can only get 3 sets. good thing is I offer pretty much any high end shaft you want, even the hard to get Japanese NS pro 1050, 950, 850 - PX 6.0, 6.5, 7.0 - S300, X100 - Diamond Rifle, Rifle 110, Rifle 90's and other Japan only shafts. Half cord grip also an option in red, blue, Grey & black. My new shaft of choice is the NS pro 1050 in Irons and NS pro 850 G.H in wedges.

Oh yes their are better mags I suggest these for pics and info:
2004 Gakken Sports Mook Golf Catalog 11.00$
Golf Style 9.90$
Golf Gear Guide
also for the deep stuff i really enjoy the weekly golf mags, thats right 4 issues a month, lots of great little pics like in the recent issue Scotty CT with tungsten ingots done by scotty. PRGR type 405. There are 3 different weekly golf mag companies so its very easy to spend 130.00 a month if you want all the mags. Golf Today rocks in regards to inside scoops, thats if you can translate it.

I can sell them but they will be much more than the U.S models due to the different margins and industries. I will add the R7 TP pre-sale to the catalog site asap. They will be cost about:
R7 TP ( conforming japan ) Graphite Design I-65 Tour AD = 1050.00
R7 TP ( conforming japan ) Mitsubishi Diamana = 999.00
R7 TP ( conforming japan ) Fujikura 661 = 999.00
They are scheduled to be released mid July.

Chris,
You still playing the driver or are you onto something else? Anybody else tried the JC371?
Didier
oh yes I am, I find this club to be the compromise between Taylormade forgiveness and Tourstage feel. I am so happy with this club. I switched for two rounds to the Synergy Deep which is also open face and the best dual composite club I have ever hit but kept wanting to hit the JC 371 proto. I ordered a 2nd one with a square face instead of the stock 1 degree open. It was a pain to get and No I'm not doing it for any customers :spit: The new JC is long and strong and even with the open face i was hitting it great, I may just keep the open face model but we will see when the square comes in. I have to wait 2 more weeks.

Its a magazine, probably the 3rd best golf magazine in Japan. Nice inside scoops. I will post some pics from the July Issue this week. Whats crazy is how long it takes to get to the U.S, that was one major ago..lol I could buy it from the convenience store and ship a month and a half faster than the mag shops take to get them. :-D

From those pics they look good - any one of it at address? I would like to give it a whirl actually. Is there one like it that is actually a "woman's" club but men use it? Or am I imagining things?
ya know, the website only shows the womens model but the demo I had was NSPro Stiff flex, and the only displays I see in stores are for men.
-
I think your JC is much better then the 350
Yup same here the JC rocks in terms of feel and forgiveness, but if you want an X-Drive I highly recommend the non pro spec models. I have been killing the high Rally version , it is so much easier to hit over the pro spec models due to the weight bias and .5 closed face. The performance is like night and day in terms of demanding. The X-390 High C.O.R is like a big F-ST as well as a Cannon!!

I didn't see a single ad for these Utility's in Japan, Absolutely no hype or advertising was done for their release, Its like Nike Japan is sleeping, their website is rarely updated and they seem overwhelmed with sales. They feel so pure and well built I am amazed and wish Nike made their entire line of woods just like these. I got the demo for the weekend and have played two rounds which both were a big success. I was hitting the 17* version with an NS pro 950 G.H shaft out of semi deep ruff and some very hard pan lies. Its feel is what got me and its just flat out simple to use with the NS shaft shaft.

I'm going to probably get a set of blades soon. I realized 3 years ago out of my 4 sets 2 were blades, 1 combo and a set of Pings. Now I have 5 sets of irons but no blades. The digging X blades looks like they might fit me. My no.1 set are the original TM300s which are known diggers. I guess that is why they fit me. I was just given a copy of Golf Gear vol.23 the one with the feature on Miura. I wish I could read Japanese.
That being said the two sets constantly in the back of my mind that I have hit and have really liked were the Katana TM303s and the Honma Tour World Ps. Thank you for your Japanese connection on the Honmas. They were just a little more than what I was willing to spend. If I remember it would've come out to $1,500 shipped. My max on irons without wedges is $1,200. Even Ho's have to know their limits. I would love to find a set of either in slightly used condition at Japanese "grade A or AB" at a good price.
Let me make a couple suggestions that I'm almost positive you will be happy with.
1) The Fourteen TB-1000 proto Irons, they are very forgiving with great feel just stunning to look at.
2) The Srixion Pro 100's, they have great ratings all across the board and they arnt your average blade.

Actually I have been tracking all your posts about these irons and waiting for the results before I got mine. Looks like i will be looking elsewhere aside from Mizuno.
Yeah thats a good idea, I'm kinda pissed at mizuno myself and had to sell the irons to another equipment freak. I will be giving them another try and have contacted them to see if they will do something very special to remedy the problem. I want copper under layer  I know they don't do that but I have a pal who is in tight with their #3 guy.
What are you looking at XXIO? I'm always up to hearing another Ho's Idea's  I know PI gets all the Japan gear so I think your taste would be pretty close to mine.

There are 2 Taylormade Adidas Apparel shops in the Tokyo area, they stock all the Japan only clothing and accesories. The average shirt is 85.00+ the style and designs of the adidas line are stunning. I love the Japan shoes also, here are some pics :

I have had to many problems with Mizuno U.S' date=' talk about a pain in the butt, the headweights are all over the charts. I had to go with Japan for several reasons the Y stamp, the M stamp, the MP-27s. These are all D2 3-9 and D3 PW, with NSpro 950's that means the heads are made heavy.[/quote']
Mizuno-Philippines. They can get both US and Japan releases. I asked for 3-5/27s, 6-8/30s, 9&pw/37s. 6weeks. They haven't gotten back to me on the stamping and satin.
6 weeks huh  I was quoted 2 weeks from Mizuno Japan and ended up waiting 12. After waiting 12 then getting the set I dont want really kills me.

If Maru Chan wins.....
- Tourstage will make a ton of limited edition clubs
- The X-drive2 should be released to the public
- Zomo will have a field day with the Victory
- Graphite design may decide to launch his proto shaft
- More people will eat rice and fermented soy beans for breakfast.

Chris I was so wanting to see the Satins. I just found out from Miz local they could do the mixed set. They are still trying to figure out if they can do custom stamps and satin.

Finally they have arrived. I opened the box with tons of anticipation to be disappointed by my order being wrong. These are Chrome not Satin like I ordered. I have two options, 1) return them and wait another 3 months for the satin version 2) keep them and be happy.
I selected #2, These Custom Mizunos are shafted with NS pro 950 G.H Stiff shafts with a real cool blue M stamp label and better yet custom/ TOUR serial #s starting with Y with three digits written in gold.
This set has no Mizuno text and the M stamp snug in the lower toe area
They are a combo set of MP-27s, MP-30s, and MP-37s
  :money:

I have been reading that there is a revolution in the super alloy industry and some call it liquid metal others call it metallic glass. In some cases its 300% more elastic than Titanium is and I have seen tests on video where they drop ball bearings against steel vs titanium vs metallic glass and the results are amazing. The National Institute of Science technologies is now working on building these into multiple applications. Some steels even have memory where they will bend back to its original form no matter what. Other metals have been built into fenders on cars then dented but when you dump hot water on the fender the metal returns to its original form. wouldnt that be nice! :surprize:
I also found an article in popular mechanics about liquid metal aka metallic glass:
The chart at left shows that Liquidmetal is as strong as steel while less dense. At right, Liquidmetal outstrips both steel and titanium in elasticity
My question is: Who is using this? It cant be the brand liquid metal golf because their products are pretty much :poop:
Is this technology for real or is it old news that couldnt be implemented into golf clubs correctly?
Anyone got info on this technology?
Wouldnt this increase the core if its so elastic?
