  1. Remember the 64* I said we would work on for the Members? It's done... There were no plans to ever make a 64* it's an idea born in the forums, I'm glad we did it because it's unique and specialized we also developed a new trailing edge grind that is extremely versatile so expect to see it more in the future. Official announcement coming tomorrow.
  2. By design it looks draw bias to me even if you put the lightest weight in the heel. Ah yes exactly! feels lighter softer than the blackout, I don't find the blackout full on soft I find it a forged hot pop crunch sorta thing but to each is own. The nud for sure has more spin than the blackout and higher launch. Its just slightly less than other top boutique heads, we have it at $550 in the proshop now.
  3. AAA 60 Stiff + Nud Ghibli Knight Driver Equals very good combo. It's so good I'm second guessing what's from shaft and what is the head responsible for so I give credit to both. The conforming was just released and non-conforming is also available too. Actually smaller than the Jbeam Blackout 435 at 445cc's - Jbeams 435 is actually 448cc's. If you have any questions please post. enjoy the pics:
  4. Your not the only one, the crowd wanting high launch / low spin and straight have had the same feedback as you on all of RomaRo's woods from driver to fairway and utility. Type-R was low spin / mid launch / for better amateur player HX Black & Gold were really good for all levels The new Alpha is all about ease of use, I wonder how it would do with a 7D.
  5. It's for a different type of player, 455 Type R would be the one to consider or the original HX if you seek a particular face depth. Alpha/Type-R/Ray are 3 different series of clubs.
  6. No difference in any of the heads. This is a shaft release / combo only. Yes TSG can install the beyond power shaft into other drivers. I've got experience with the Maxima and it's various versions D/V/G/ST and for me the Beyond Power shaft felt very stable, smooth yet not much kick noticed and besides it's light "actual weight" it felt in the mid 60g range even though it wasn't.
  7. The new Beyond Power shaft by Ryoma was something I didn't consider exciting because it's a new part not an entirely new product but I stand corrected because it made a good driver even better. BEYOND POWER by Ryoma Golf is a shaft specially designed to produce the highest smash factor possible. Ryoma offers excellent standard shafts that compliment the Maxima heads even better than aftermarket shafts. This new Beyond Power utilizes a new technology we are seeing used more frequently in the Japan Golf Shaft Industry known as "multi-kick" this allows companies that have used it like Fujikura and Jbeam to produce what Ryoma calls "Infinity Flex" which is supposed to add an average of 2.7mph to your head speed. The Beyond Power Shaft is made by Graphite Design and designed in collaboration with Ryoma's designers, the wildest thing about it is that it works well for golfers who swing as slow as 67mph all the way up to 111mph which is something I have a hard time believing and while we could not find a player who swings that slow we were able to test it from 83mph up to 115mph and surprisingly their claims were accurate. What was shocking is the slower swingers thought it was light and flexible while the fast swingers said it was heavy and firm at impact but how could this be, it's really due to the multi kick, if each kick point flexes in a certain sequence at a particular speed it fires off the next kick point. This has been seen in other long drive shafts like Jbeams ZY-11 has a Yamazaki Pro Shaft that is infinity flex just as Fujikura has their Air Speeder. High handicap ladies can play it and even the faster-swinging scratch golfer can consider this shaft and that's why Ryoma has made it in two lengths, 45.5" and 46.5" and playing it longer does give you a few more yards.
  8. It's fantastic, wein coffee is soo good. the 2nd pic is the souffle pancakes but a must have is the pic below which is shepherds pie with a broken egg that you dip your bread in.
  9. These two where to eat in Ginza & Kyoto posts are loaded questions it's almost overwhelming because food in Japan is off the charts. it's easy to get a great meal and experience. Here are just my personal favorites that I've been to: Robotayaki in Roppongi is a must go! http://www.roppongi-robataya.com/english/ This one in particular For exclusive style Modern fine dine http://www.takazawa-y.co.jp/en/ only 3 tables per night so book early (thanks stew!) For molecular style http://www.mandarinoriental.co.jp/tokyo/fine-dining/tapas-molecular-bar/#_=_ Kyubei Sushi in Ginza is my favorite sushi http://www.kyubey.jp/index_e.html The-Crane http://www.the-crane.com/information.html ( guy plays golds factory putter and wedges and hangs a wedge over his door ) but best drinks ever for me. For teppenyaki I like Ukai-tei http://www.ukai.co.jp/omotesando/menu.html and Keyakizaka http://restaurants.tokyo.grand.hyatt.co.jp/keyakizaka-restaurant/menu.html Go to Ueno and eat at this particular place: http://www.mihashi.co.jp/top.shtml Anmitsu at Mihashi desert. Tofu Kaiseki with traditional and beautiful style eating at Tofuya Ukai http://www.ukai.co.jp/english/shiba/menu.html For quick sushi go to any stand up sushi, I like tokyo stations and shinjuku's
  10. I have been playing Elite in my putters and irons and enjoy the Y360 M60 but I could probably be happy within most grip companies line up, I find most brands have something I can get along fine with. Elite Tour-G Iomic NO.1 Perfect Pro All make great rubber.
  11. that's funny because I grew up with Anna Millers in Hawaii then one day found another in Yokohama, they seem to enjoy American diner style and do their best to replicate it but they are still missing the sweat & grease on the plate. Cafe style has recently come back in Japan Vienna style serving more cream based wein coffee places like the chain Hoshino are far better than cafe's in the states.
  12. No idea, Ako-san just messaged me and told me he had just got them in stock. was never really a fan of RC driver heads and the A-Grind 350 didn't work at all for me.
  13. It's been out for 4 days now in Japan. If anyone is interested let me know, we have ours on the way.
  14. We can change paint fill + $10 and the logo needs to be there.
  15. Too many great places anywhere in Japan and especially Kyoto, please tell us what you like and style of resturaunt.
  16. It's not easy choosing between the black oxide vs nicr satin.
  17. Forum members can email me [email protected] They are pricey as a lot of milling needed to be done.
  18. Technically considered Non-Conforming but Chiro hit it perfectly:
  19. It's the CNC Box Grooves that made the biggest difference, the double pass milling takes it a step further. Most wedges are conforming and most non conforming wedges are pressed, what we wanted to make was sharp and it took the deepest widest and sharpest non conforming grooves we could find.
  20. I think kenepon153 needs to reply in this post as to if this head has a ding or not.
  21. Nob-san, August 10th we should have your shaft.
  22. Released next week, more info to come. Most spin ever on a wedge, not legal at all.
  23. Stuck and stripped, we can have it fixed for you, lmk.
