I've been playing with these shaft since the start of the year and really like them. Althoug I'm no expert I'll try my best at describing these shafts. The best thing about these shafts is how totally customizable they are so you should know what you want. The come in raw flexes of 4.5, 5.5, 6.5 and can be tweaked to match your specs. The cool part is that you can customize your flex pattern to dictate trajectory, if you wanted you could have a varying flex pattern like a Rife Flighted or a consistent flight like a Rifle. Since the person who created these shafts is also the same person who created Project X. I'll try to compare the two as best as I can, I feel that the Project X is a lower spinning shaft, for me accras perform better in wedges both have great feel I think that the Accras are smoother but not much.

I too am a big time player and fan of srixon balls, it's just sad that they there two premium balls the ur-x and hrx-333 shred as bad as they do. I have yet to be able to play and entire round with just one ball. Personally I've gone to back to one of my all time favorites the HBTour. I also feel that there low end balls the are awesome especially the soft feel. For me the hrx-333 does do as advertise long off the driver with little spin, increased spin on irons, not butter soft or terrible hard off the putter but nice feel.

I've played the 201 extensively and demo the 302. Appearance: 201 slightly larger from heel to toe than the 302 with more offset. Toplines to me seemed very similar. Feel: They both feel good at impact, atleast for me the 201 had more of a muted feel when compared to the 302 Forgiveness: They are both pretty forgiving but with the larger head and slightly more offset the 201 is slightly more foregiving. Workability: I'm not a big worker of the ball but I had no trouble moving it right or left. Hopefully some one has more insight into this. A side note about the two the sole design are very different between the two. 302 has a more chambered sole which more players prefer. I don't know how to exactly explain the sole design of the 201 except to say that it wider than normal. Also the 201 has a sharper leading edge design which for some promotes digging while the 302 has a more round leading edge. Hope this helps.
  4. This sucks... I just talked to my local srixon rep and he said that the 404 will not be comming to the US. That 403 line is the next line to be distributed in the US. The weird thing is that he told mr that there is no intention of creating two separate line one for US and one for Japan. Its just that it turned out this way for the upcoming lines.
  5. Japan version huh..... Interesting I've been playing the older version of the Pro 100's for awhile now. It would interesting to see what the differences are. After talking to a srixon rep about a month ago he said that these would be released in the US on an extremely limited basis sometime late summer.

The new ball will be called is HRX, with a compression around 103. Comparing it to the UR-X, less spin off the driver and irons, firmer feeling off the wedges and putter, and more durable. For me about 10-15 yards longer than the UR-X, short game performance different in that I thought the HRX was more of a drop and stop ball. According to the rep that I spoke with should be released in the states by mid-april (look for the gold foil srixon box), at about the same price as the URX
