i had a speeder 569 tour spec installed in my 440 sz at 45.75" and i was ready to sell it because i was snap hooking it like mad. i trimmed 1/2" off the butt and now i'm killing it :D i never imagined that butt trimming would make that much of a difference in feel and performance. i always played my driver at 45.75" and never had a problem. for those of you that play anything longer than 45" you should try a little trim and see that you will hit it longer, higher, and straighter! that extra 1/2" might be hurting you. andy

the new tour specs are "retail" meaning it's not a tour only shaft. you can buy one from any fuji dealer

exactly, then he states that the shaft is tour only and worth over $500. i emailed him and he replies with profanities! 8O be careful of scammers like this guy

i play an 869 x in my sonartec ss-03 7 wood that has been tipped 1/2" and it's a soft x. it is 41.25" so i would say you should tip it 3/4" to 1" to play true to flex. imo this is one of the best fw shafts next to the 857 pro ti which is n.l.a. this sounds like a perfect pick if you like the mid-high kick with a soft tip! good luck, andy

no, it's not bogus. the seller made an error in the listing. the shaft is the new green color for the new retail tour spec's. the shaft usually retails for $225 obviously the bidders aren't fuji buffs or they would know this info :D andy

px plays about .3-.4 stiffer than labeled. so if you have 5.5's they would probably be somewhere in the 5.8-5.9 range. so the 6.0 would play like a 6.3-6.4. if you want a flatter trajectory px will be perfect. and yes you definately gain bout 5-8 yards a club! andy

2" is alot to remove from any shaft. it drastically changes the feel of the shaft most likely making it a little boardy felling. i have an 869 x flex in my sonartec ss-03 7 wood that was tipped 1" and it's perfect. not sure how the s flex will be. andy
