Same here. Can't swing just yet. I want to hit my R7, my irons and my newly acquired Titleist 503.H. I might have to go to indoor range. The snowis melting though, that's a good sign. Well Olympics are on and the Nissan Open this week as well as the Daytona 500.

Yes, that is true. Tiger's grip is weaker than 1998 and has changed ball position. I know from his "How I Play Golf" book, that he used to play all shots closer to middle and I believe had a lower trajectory. Now he needs higher launch on driver to achieve maximum distance. I might be wrong, but didn't Tiger hit the ball fairly high during his first years on tour and would have needed a different ball position?

Amazing new set-up. I really like the irons. Share with us your expierence when you hit them/play a round. And those vokey wedges are insane with the stamped lettering. Great job on the new bag.

I've looked at the 503.H. I was just unsure of how it would play. Maybe I will try and find both the Pro Combo Utility and a 503.H used on ebay and go from there. I can hit my 3-iron anywhere from 195-215. Depends how hard I swing and how I am swinging. I generally hit my 4 about 190-200. If i'm on a 200 yard par 3, i'll take 3-iron, but from 200 in the fairway I generally take 4.

Yea the Pro Combo Utility is a nice club. I'm going to try and find the 22* loft.

Thanks. I hit them once before the season ended. They were amazing feeling. For blades, they were pretty forgiving in my opinion. They gave me a nice little fade and felt awesome. I am going to replace the 3-iron with either a Taylormade Rescue Mid, or Nike Pro Combo Utility. The shoes are awesome. Very comfortable and don't hurt your feet after walking 18 holes or even 9 holes. I will try to get some better pics off the irons tomorrow. I will get better views of the 3 iron, 6 iron and a 9 iron picture and then a better view off them all together.

Although a great performance,he did it against the struggling Raptors. So it doesn't seem that great in my view. Had he done it against let's say the Pistons, it'd be a different sotry. But nonetheless an amazing performance.

Although I didn't see the game, I heard about it. And the refs did hand Texas the game, Surprised the refs didn't catch and i'm surprised nobody challenged. He was clearly down. That's what won them the game. USC can't win every game and they've been National Champs last couple years. Vince Young is great but I believe as well he'll have trouble in the NFL. The defenses there are faster and the have better training. They will expect him to do this and work their gameplan around it. They will treat him like Vick, although they aren't the same and he'll have a much harder time. He's more of a running back then quarterback. Likes to run more than throwing.

Thanks guys. So more offset on blades, and my swing is not very steep, so I won't have to worry about them digging to much. So i guess i'll get the set bent so the 3-iron is 21* degrees and so on. Thanks again.

Alright. Here's the situation. Nike's Blades are about 2 degrees weaker than most sets. Their 3-iron is 23 degrees, whereas most are 21 degrees. If I got the whole set of Blades bent 2 degrees strong, what will the causes and effects be? For example, less bounce would do what? What else will it do other than probably lower ball flight and increase distance. Will their be anything major to worry about?

I really like Sergios swing. But never realized his stance was so narrow compared to let's say Tiger. But it is a powerful swing and he is very flexible. I still say if he improves his putting, look out. He'll start winning and winning often.

That is because it is a little more flat. His swing has changed a lot due to the knee surgery he had in 2003. The old swing of 1998-2000 that he still used put way to much stress on his left knee and it was more upright. He changed it to put less stress on the knee and made it a little flat.
