Japan shafts and Scratch 60 Head
1. Scratch JLM-TNC 60 HEAD in Satin finish. Paintfill has been removed and has my initials ADL stamped on it. Brand new shafted at $179 plus ship. How's $87 shipped and paypaled for this? 2. 2 Mamiya Japan 6064M. Both driver lengths. Blue is untipped and Orange is tipped 1/2 inch. $120 shipped and paypaled. I just found out the Blue has a 0.25 inch BUTT extention professionally done. It is a one time pull by me. Previous owner says he bought it here brand new and he did not have it tipped. He also says he has not pulled the shaft from the head. 3. Fujikura Japan Rombax 6W06 Regular untipped. Driver length. SOLD. Thanks.

Epon Forged Website
My compatibility with high bounce has to differ with you on that Chris. I HAVE TRIED the 208 KGX and I just don't understand why they do not offer low bounce options as well. I have the old Technity 60.06 and that is just much better for me. Just me though.

Epon Forged Website
Anyone know what S20C is most similar to? 1020C? 1025C?

Epon Forged Website
Interesting why Epon made mid to low bounce wedges for the207, AF and Technity range and only high bounce for the new 208 KGX range. I wonder why that is. Any one know?

Honma Beres irons
Fully agree. If you want to get the Beres, get the graphite shafted set and don;t reshaft. Any idea about the weight, bend point, torque of the shafts?

Honma Beres irons
I tried the latest Honma beres (can;t remember what model number but it was a players cavity). Felt really good and solid with the STOCK graphite shafts. When it was switched to PX, that solid feel was totally gone. The quality of the finishing is very good but as someone mentioned, typically associated with old rich guys. THe gold, diamond laden sets were often used as "gratuity" for under table services.

Let's Compare the New AF101 with the 460ZR w/PICS!
That is correct about the trajectory.

Let's Compare the New AF101 with the 460ZR w/PICS!
I measure AF 101 to be 57mm and 460 ZR to be 61mm.

Let's Compare the New AF101 with the 460ZR w/PICS!
I wish me and a few others had the same good experience as you but alas, a round tomorrow and over the weekend should be a good enough demo process to put the AF 101 through its paces.

Let's Compare the New AF101 with the 460ZR w/PICS!
I conducted my side by side demo on a full scale range with real balls (not range rocks). Hit the same ball with each of the drivers to hold this variable constant. Yes, on sweet hits, the AF 101 is a tad longer and does roll more (closer to 5 yards for me), but more importantly for me, on AVERAGE and for OVERALL distance, they are about the same across each session. The AF101 is more workable and less forgiving and I feel is for the better player. The ZR more forgiving and for the mid capper looking to just hit the ball straight. I'm trying a side by side range session today with my ZR and a white board 63 shafted AF101. Same loft of 9.5.

Let's Compare the New AF101 with the 460ZR w/PICS!
The AF 101 does NOT have a crisper feel IMO even when hit dead on the sweet spot.

Let's Compare the New AF101 with the 460ZR w/PICS!
Yes, the golf accents on the sole of the AF 101 are a tad "old".

Let's Compare the New AF101 with the 460ZR w/PICS!
Feel wise which is purely personal, the AF101 feels much more solid and "pro" to me. More "thuddy" like the Titleist drivers of old as opposed to the tin canny sounds of all the new taylormades. But performance wise, so far there is not much between the ZR and AF101 but both set very high standards which the likes of TMs will struggle to meet IMO. Its just that I'm not sure if the hundreds of bills for an AF 101 over the Zr is worth it. For me anyways. Well, I have 2 rounds on Thursday and Sunday to decide whether to buy the AF101 or not. Will be trying a Diamana Whiteboard this time round I am very familiar with how that shaft plays in all oy previous drivers, the ZR included.

Let's Compare the New AF101 with the 460ZR w/PICS!
I've had two side by side range sessions with the ZR and AF 101 both 9.5 so far and the AF101 hits slightly lower and is definitely NOT as forgiving as the ZR despite the supposed larger sweet spot. Both had Roddios in them, one a 6wba and the Af101 a 5wba (yes I know not an actual comparison bt I ain;t shelling out another several hundred for aother 6wba just for demo purposes). On solid hits, the AF is slightly longer but on a consistent average, both are about the same distance wise.
