JohnnyTN: It wasn't a custom color. I asked him to match as close as possible. The original finish was slightly darker. The new finish, however, shows the metallic paint a bit better. Bruinduke: IIRC the refinish job was ~$50-60. Not sure if you can send him a whole club. I had my guy locally pull the shaft for $5. Probably saved me a bit of $$ on shipping, too.

Needs refinishing, but depending on if the head is foamed, I may not be able to powdercoat it. If not, I'll contact CCC. If it's foamed, anyone have recommendations? Is Golfsmith's work reputable? Thanks.

I tried to send my J340 to Jim but, he thought it was a foamed him. Joe K. says all the ones he has seen is not. I sent it to golfphycos and should have it back any day. I'll post pics whenever I get it. Do you have a contact for golfphycos? How long did it take? Thanks.

Hard to tell from your pics, but is your head a blue/black metallic? Thanks for the link and pics! Good information. :surprize: Mine is kinda beat up around the toe (see pics), probably from fall off a cart. Do you recomend refinishing? Golfsmith quoted $40-50 and 1-2 months. Also, I've heard not to powdercoat because TS uses foam in their heads.

Brand newbie here. Can anyone tell me more about this driver? Pics below. Tour Spec J340, dark metallic blue/black head. Mated to a Fuji FitOn 11 Pro95 shaft. Friend gave it to me, someone actually gave it to him as partial payment for money owed. I've had some people says good stuff about it, but I've found very little info. Any info is appreciated (origins, ca., rarity, value, etc.) Oh yeah, one other thing, I'm left handed, and it's a right handed driver, so I can't even enjoy it. :wah:

How does a major newbie like me differentiate between the proto and reg. version of the J340? Thanks.
