Thanks for the great ideas guys. Chris, your points totally make sense. I think titanium head is the way to go for this and and high modulus shaft for launch and dispersion control. But the ultimate question is bag setup: does this club relegate the driver to just a few holes per round, and then how do I squeeze in a 16-17 degree club to hit off the deck? Oh well fun "ho" problems!

Looking for ideas for a Stenson- inspired 3 wood; what are some JDM head and shaft combo ideas? Maybe JBEAM TF in 13.5 degrees, what shaft to make a monster 3 wood that a 10 handicapper can hit? Thanks

I see in the shop that the shaft weights are relatively light. Is the performance so stable no one needs an 80-90 gram hybrid shaft?

Thought I'd chime in with how happy i am with these Yoro MP-55s and MP-H5 wedges that 'i've had for a month. Soft/springy is a nice way to describe them. Flushing a shot with them is a wonderful feeling. And they make it easy to hit a good because they set up so clean, make make me confident in alignment and provide awesome, clean turf interaction. These are really great clubs - thanks TSG!

Hi Chris, Can you fill us in on the dfference between mp-25 and mp-55. Is 55 for Japan only? Can you do Yoro customized 55 as well? Thanks By the way today I played with a set of mp-27s I got through TSG almost 10 years ago and they are still awesome.

I know the GD UT shafts have been a favorite of many for a while. Do the new ones from Fuji, NGS, Ozik, etc. offer better performance from new technology or is GD still the king?

I just got them a few weeks ago (Thanks TSG!!) and think they are a fantastic iron for a mid-handicapper like myself and probably also for single-digit guys as well depending on their tastes. I was playing with MP-27s which I liked but the JPX are noticably more forgiving and still give a forged feel at impact. I will say not as butter-soft feeling as the MPs but still you feel the compression of the ball. Chris put NS1050s on them at my request, and I like the result, very stable feeling club, lets me swing with confidence. So they get a strong recommendation from me...

Chris can we get this with upgrade shafts like RODDIO?

Seems that these 2 are the top driver shaft choices. Given the same specs, does one or the other have characteristics - kick, distance, forgiveness - that would make it the king of the hill?

Can anyone describe the tradeoffs between the 2 for feel/distance/forgiveness? They look a lot alike; I've got to think the VIQ are a little bigger with more offset? Thanks!

Chris, Is Gauge going to come back with a successor to the GAF1 FW? I like the 3 and I'm looking for a 5. If I can't get the same family, I'd think about the Srixon or Miz JPX. :confused:

I am digging my GAF1 3 wood, and would like to find it a 5 wood buddy. any release date for the next generation GAF? or are there other JDM woods that would have a similar feel (especially with the square setup)? How's your mizuno JPX?
