Need shaft Help!!!!!!!!!!!
I like a 75 - 85 gram shaft. With a stiffer tip with little or almost no torque. I really never have been happy with a driver, but the last driver I had that I hit well was a R510 TP with a 757 tour spec x flex. Not a huge gan of the 757

Need shaft Help!!!!!!!!!!!
Alright you Gurus I need some serious help here my driver is the las club I have to perfect. I need a new shaft. I have a Cleveland Comp 460 9.5* with the stock (launcher/fuji) X flex. I hit it too high, and the shaft feels like junk. I swing at 121 average, and 127 when I go after one. I am a +2 at the moment. My misses with this shaft are one of two things. First it balloons on me loss of yards unacceptable, second it draws harder than I would like when I miss who can help me out. Don't worry about money I just need the best shaft. Thanks

New Prototype Maxfli balls
I had some big wigs from Taylormade play at my course today and they gave me a set of the new maxfli prototypes. The sleves are blank (all white) the ball just says maxfli with a number on the top of the name. No side markings though. I am told that the ball will be called the "Black Max" These things have a similar feel maybe a little softer to the callaway hx tour but they are way longer. I have a dozen if anybody wants to buy some. Cheers DA

Update on Phil's Callaway Clubs
Well if you gentelmen would like to know the truth about phils gambling here it is. One of the members at DM is in a partner in a casino I over heard talking about this when phil was there. According to him phil owes somewhere in the realm of 4 to 6 million to vegas. Apparently he likes to bet on horses and dogs. Sorry all you phil lovers but that is it from a reputable guy. I think he should be okay after this year however, with the 8 mill or whatever he is getting from Cally.

Update on Phil's Callaway Clubs
I work at Desert Mountian in Scottsdale Arizona. Phil came down and played at my course 2 days ago. Pulled up in a Sweet Range Rover. Anyway I do not know if what he actually plays has been posted. HIS IRONS: The are a cavity back that looks much like the x 16 pro series but they are not. They are call X Tours. The cavity back is smaller and it has a red, silver and black paint scheme. HIS DRIVER: Is a fusion. It kind of looks like a GBBII but it is not. It has that same callaway mark on the back of the club that the GBBII does, but it is black and not blue, It is 410 cc and he says that is much more solid that the retail or tour fusion. He also told me that they have a 460 cc in the works that he is really excited about. They are currenlty building one for him right now. The headcover was black grey and orange it was tight. HIS BALL: It is not going to be the fusion ball or anything like that he told me there are a few names out there but they one they are currenlty leaning towars this the TOUR XX. Phil said the new ball allows for more trajectory control more durable with less spin off the driver and more spin off the wedges. Some new core and cover. HIS PUTTER: It was a new proto bentinarrdi very thin flange all gold. I did not get a long look at it he is protective of his putter he apparetly loves this one. wedges are just the tour callies No pics he wouldn't let me, but there you go DA

Mickelson and Titleist divorce coming soon, Callaway soon...
Guys don't forget that these pros don't have to play what their company puts on the shelf for us to buy. Look at Scotty Cameron he does not hide the fact that he makes putters for the pros we can't get (most of the time) Tiger plays a nike driver that is not the retail version that we can't get. The rac milled protos are a perfect example of this its an iron that some pros play that 99.9% will never touch. What I am saying is it is not unlikely that Philly will sign with Callaway, use the HX tour and the fusion (more likley a new prototype the need to come out with alot like he did when he hit the 983x before the k and e came out) then maybe callaway will make a completly one-off set of irons specifally for Phil and just say thats too damn bad for the public. Any publicity is good publicity. All any of these companies want is their name on a huge bg and to be associated with a pro. It is a buisness they are in reality (don't kid yourself) selling their brand or name if you will not an individual product

PM changing gear
This was supposed to be a response to the Phil Mikelson post about changing equipment. :-D :bulls**t: :titleist:  :tm:

PM changing gear
If he wants to ply non inferior equipment we all know he should go to TM it is the best out there. The R7 is longer than the K, TM is already in the process of making a super premium ball (taylormade brand not maxfli) that is supposed to make the prov1 look like a wound ball off the tee and have as much or better feel. Lets see oh yea Mirua forged irons and tour wedges it doesn't get a whole lot better than that. And for all you lefties out there this would mean new taylormade lefty tour equipment. But that is just my take and what do I know :-)

New Taylor Made equipment review
I hit the clubs with Gmoney the day the rep came by and I would have to agree with the visual statements about the tp I hate the logo on the back and the horizontal lines on the back of the cavity blow. As for the SW of the club I like the D2 it makes it easier to swing for me that is. As for the LT series yea they are new but you you are looking for the forgivness of the LT with the look of a blade from the top the new ones will not be you best choice. They were easy to hit however I do not like how deep the cavity was I personally like this last years LT's better. Now as for this R5 dual. I think it is a bad club. It is huge and looks even bigger than the 430cc's (or however big it is) that is measures. I will give it this though the D is easy to draw I may be a bias simply due to the horrible shaft I hit it with. In my opinion TM makes some of the best retail clubs availbe in the US but I with they would have made the tp irons look just like the milled prototypes Thanks G for hooking me up with the chance to hit those.
