This set is a custom-only, un-hit set of Cleveland Tour Action 588 "Pro Combo's", with the 3 and 4-irons being cavity-backed, while the 5-iron thru PW are blades in CARBON STEEL :surprize: , with chrome plating. Their softness and feel was meant to be maximally "workable", while allowing some of the game-improvement forgiveness in the toughest-to-hit (even for the 'good' guys!) irons in the set-- the 3 and 4-irons. They are all stamped "F" on the top of the hosel, standing for what, is beyond me. Perhaps an alphabetical prototype indication, as in A, B, C... and so on, but that would be a guess on my part. The Canadian pro I got them from was not of the initial "F", so it has to indicate something, and as they are all perfectly D-1 on the swingweight scale, it can't be that. Lofts and lies are perfect, as would be expected of this level of tool-crafting-- 3-iron is 21* loft/58* lie; 4-iron is 24*/59*; 5-iron is 28*/60*; 6-iron is 32*/60*; 7-iron is 36*/61*; 8-iron is 40*/62*; 9-iron is 44*/63*; PW is 48*/64*. Lengths are dead perfect standard with a 37.5" 5-iron, and up and down in the standard 1/2" increments. Shafts are Cleveland logo'd Dynamic Gold S-400's and the grips are based upon Golf Pride's Tour Velvet with Cleveland logo's top and bottom, and they have a standard one wrap beneath.
