And here is: Face progression Face progression is the distance (A) between the axis of the shaft (8) and the leading edge of the club head (10). When the leading edge extends out in front of the axis, face progression is expressed as a positive number (for irons generally, these values range from +6mm-0mm). I got mix up w/ this one below: Goose Goose is the distance between point (7), which denotes an imaginary line drawn from the hosel before it bends toward the face, and point (10), which signifies the leading edge of the club head. A club with a "straight neck" would have a goose of around 1mm, while a club with a "semi-goose neck" would have one of around 2mm, and a club with a "goose neck" one of over 4mm. *Because calculations of goose are affected by differences in the thickness of the hosel or by differences in methods used to grind and polish forged clubs, face progression is primarily calculated today in relation to the axis of the shaft, which is not affected by such variations. **"Goose" is sometimes referred to as "offset." For tungsten YES! I know that China have a lot of tungsten raw material ( in powder form ). I'm not sure for others, because I just had an inquiry from a friend in China looking for a scrap metal ( a lot of them ).

True Ryan! But the question is "Is soft feel coming from the material or the sound when we putt the ball? IMO it's Both and also Plating. Plating can make the best carbon steel the worst feel. for example Melonite plating. This why most putter in the past were gun blue for the best feel, however horrible maintaining it. At the end I would probably looking for the softest feel, sound and no plating ( raw ).

I wouldn't be surprice looking at the price issue. However the last info i got from a local suplier the countries who ussually produce a good "high quality" metal is US, German, Japan and lately Malaysia is coming strong and sold a lot to China.He could be wrong but hey who wants to argue w/ some one working in the industry for over 20 years. :D

I wouldn't be surprise if actually it just came from a german steel mill / scientist and the actual steel it self is coming from our own mill in the US.

This is a demo that i and several people tried for a few rounds only. it's 41" at D3 sw. No sky mark, just a normal few rounds ware on the sole and face. Head cover included too. I might also let go one of the Demo 420cc driver w/ TP speeder 757 X flex on it . You need to make sure first how much weight you loose and how much you need to add and also how much room you have to add foam again. I ussually use Hilti from Home depot, More expensive that other foam but better expansion. You do have to add foam again to make sure nothing loose again, especially impact force are quite pretty unpredictable. Good luck! joe

Flatter, less spin rate and more boring trajectory due to stiffer tip, thus the kick point is slightly higher than the 757. More expensive due to the construction and materials involved in it.Honestly speaking, I'm still bump/shock when they told me that they stoped the production on this shaft. Joe

If you like a speeder feel w/ around or less than 80 grams, You might want to go w/ 761. Joe

THe only way to do it without touching the shaft is to get some of the rat glue out of the head. A lot of work but doable. A lot of mineral spirit and acetone involve. JOe
