Heavier Graphite Shafts for Irons
from what I know they made tgi-120 and tgi-100 120 and 100 gram. they are available in both taper and parallel. The TGi's are a constantweight shaft with progressively stiffer tips. They are pre cut to length and are available in either taper or parallel tip. They call their launch profile low-mid. The aldila freq methodology: butt clamp at 6.25" head weight is given in their chart. The TGi 100 "R"; weight = 100g, freq. 275-335, torque 2.0-2.5 The TGi 100 "S"; weight = 102 g, freq 290-352, torque 2.0-2.5. The TGi 120 "S"; weight = 117g, freq. 290-352, torque 2.0-2.5 The TGi 120 "X"; weight = 119g, freq. 300-360, torque 1.3-1.8 they seemed willing to sell to me and I am a nobody...call the 800 number...

Heavier Graphite Shafts for Irons
I just got of the phone w/ aldila and they said the NV iron shafts will be 45.00 ea. I called to get a couple of extra wedge shafts, I play the TGI-120's in a set of cleveland ta3mc's and love them. When I asked about the TGI-120 I was told they have some sets left and that they would sell them for 15.00 ea!!!! Full set of tour grade heavy weight shafts for 150.00! Can't beat that!!! :surprize: :smile1: :smile2:

fs - taylormade R540 tour issue 9.5
Looking to sell a taylormade R540 tour issued driver 9.5 185.00 shipped and paypaled - OBO Loft is underlined, titanium on the sole, I bought from Joe Kwok in october. Has a Grafalloy prolite 35-s shaft, graphics turned down. I loved the club, but plays higher than I need..... Went back to the 300 tour, but the R540 is way more forgiving and still SOLID! :smile2:

will a r500 9.5 loft play the same as a 300 tour 9.5?
I am hoping that someone here can answer a couple of questions in regard to launch angle in regards to several drivers. I had been playing a couple of 300 tours in 9.5 loft, one with an aldila make exclusivly for taylormade shaft in stiff flex and the other with a fujikura taylormade exclusive shaft in what I believe is also a stiff flex. The fuji shaft is better if I play alot, otherwise I prefer the aldila (less work). These combos works pretty well, but lauch is a bit high w/ little roll. In the fall I bought a 9.5 r450 tour issue head and put in a fujikura tour release 26.3 TP shaft also in stiff flex. This setup feels great, but the lauch angle is even higher and no roll. I just bought a 300 tour 8.0 head and was going to try it with a fujikura tour release 26.3 TP shaft also in stiff flex and was wondering what to expect. I am also thinking that rather than this combo should I try a R500 8.5 with a fujikura tour release 26.3 TP shaft also in stiff flex. Any help you can give would be appreciated! Bill Mann

reshafting to graphite, heads seem loose and hosels shorter?
I have a set if cleveland irons that I just got (heads only) that are tour issue and I am looking to have them reshafted w/ 1 time pulls of aldila tgi-120 shafts from a set of 588p cleveland irons. The problem is this....It appears to me, someone who does no club work on there own, that the hosel depth is shorter that the original clubs. I say this because there is about an 1/8 of an inch gap between the ferrule and the hosel when I insert a shaft into the head. I would just replace the ferrules, but the heads seem to be a bit loose, and wiggle and slip off when inserted. Is there any chance that while both should be taper .355 that the shorter hosel is causing a problem? Does anyone have a suggestion or can you tell me how tight the fit should be? Do I need to trim 1/8 of an inch from the tip to make it snug or is that a bad idea? Any advise would be appreceated. Ps. I tried the shaft in a taylormade rac MB and it seemed tighter, but it also seemed to insert further....
