  1. Well done. We are like the CSI team for JDM gear. Haha!
  2. Last one of these Spoon (I believe it was Spoon) and I sent a note to the seller indicating fake. At first he argued with me and that said he had no idea and would take them down. We all need to first send him a note and then if it doesn't come down, report to eBay. I would hate for some guy to think he's getting a deal with a first time JDM purchase.
  3. I have this wedge in 50*. stupid easy to hit and VERY consistent yardages. Has also now become my go to club for longer chips or out of the sand on longer bunker shots. Let me know if willing to separate cuz might be interested in the 58*.
  4. Where do you live?...you'd be amazed how many JDM fitters are out there, just a matter of searching around a bit. The one beauty of JDM vs US drivers is that for the most part, they hold their value, so for many of us it's been a bit of trial and error, which is part of the fun and not just about head choice and experimenting with that but also all the shaft choices out there. If it doesn't work out for you, just put it back on BST and you lose some, not a lot. Ryoma definitely gets it's fair share of good press out there...for me, it simply did not work out. I have the view that it's a driver for slower less aggressive golfers and I just hit a bunch of duck hooks. Others here believe it to be the holy grail. On my end, I love my epon 151 and I have seen some great deals as of late on BST with some used Epons, many of which may be a couple years old, but still the real deal and will give you a lot of forgiveness and a lot of pleasure. In my view you simply cannot go wrong with epon as a primer to JDM drivers. Other great stuff with Yamaha, Kamui, and on and on. Edit: Ed: just saw that you wrote almost exactly what I wrote! Great minds...
  5. Which KJ irons did you buy? Just got an email from Miura President Adam Barr saying they've dropped the price on the KJ Limited editions.
  6. Where are all these guys who say they're looking for great gear at a great price? Reminds me of the guy who was looking for a JDM driver for under $200...I thought no freaking way and two days later one shows up. Wondering if it ever got sold.
  7. I think you're missing the point. You get fitted for a set of irons which allows you to try a bunch of JDM gear, you pay the fitter and say "thank you"! Then, you get onto TSG and search for what suits you best in the BST section and save yourself about 50%. Fitters deal with people all the time who just come in to get on a trakman or knowing people will buy elsewhere, but as long as you pay for their time, no problem for them. That way you get a custom fitting, no guess work about what will or won't work for you and at a great price.
  8. Trying to guess what suits your eye or your particular swing characteristics via the Internet is NOT the way to get properly fitted especially if this is your first experience with JDM gear. I would suggest, as I did, that you find a local fitter who carries a few JDM brands and talk to them and then hit the clubs. Doubly so if youre on a tight budget and can't afford to make a mistake. Most fitters will charge for the fitting but will give you a credit if you buy from them.
  9. Wow...doesn't look like desert fauna to me:)
  10. Ha! See, much colder than it's been:)
  11. Is it possible cold weather is the culprit here? I doubt it but just a thought.
  12. Good man Tario.
  13. That putter was a money maker for me...still use my backup 350 alternating with my Edel. Putter looks small but weighting is near perfect as is the feel of the putter. One of my Top 3 putters EVER!
  14. I have a guy who can get me both...same guy who gets me my HGH;)
  15. Typically slighters go for between $175-250 used. Obviously depends on condition, original cost to build, etc. I happen to like them. Also one day hoping to get my hands on a zen to try, although something tells me you have to trust what ppl are saying about the putter and just buy it. I personally like putters that have some heft to them based on speed of the greens at my home course...unsure if that's true for the Zen.
  16. Yes, but when are you guys selling;)
  17. "i think prices of the posters gear is so low and ridiculous and such a bargain despite the quality." How no one has jumped on that 101 is pure craziness.
  18. Anyone know where I can get my hands on some fake personals;)
  19. R: Regular 88-95mph S1: Stiff/Regular 95-102mph S2: Stiff 102-108mph X: 108-120mph
  20. Aram with an epon 101 on BST right now for $125. Don't think you can beat that!!
  21. Swing was looking for a very inexpensive driver...should send him a note.
  22. Good thing there's a schedule so I can plan accordingly!!
