  1. Thanks Carlo. They truly are special. The pro at my club who loves to knock my "fancy" JDM gear loves the Personals. Let me know if someone wants to go for head only and I can figure out a price.
  2. I was thinking about the steelFibers, but now need the funds to start a new little project. These are PERFECTLY balanced with the Monacos..
  3. SOLD This is quite possibly the only satinized set of Personals on the market. All work done by Spoon as you may recall and they are absolutely stunning. No high gloss chrome look, but a very clean satin look and feel. Shafts are stiff Monacos and makes for a great combo. I will also throw in the Epon headcovers that everyone suddenly is drooling over. I have only played these irons twice (NY winters suck) since buying from Spoon, so very little wear if any. I have included the link to Spoon's original thread on these which include the pics.
  4. Now on eBay...just shocked a bag like this didn't sell here

I have the same head covers if anyone interested in, but spoon gets first sale.
  6. Is this the Tour model??
  7. You will hate yourself. If you have cash to burn and the desire, go right ahead, but the blacks are very tough for ANYONE to hit, let alone a higher handicap.
  8. Initials are still there but much more of an outline of the initials now.
  9. HUGE PRICE DROP TO $375. You will never find a Mackenzie bag at this price anywhere on the Internet. If not sold today, moving to eBay.
  10. Just for fun removed most of the initials as a little project this AM. Still a trace of initial but not as much as before.
  11. Putting is ALL about confidence so if the putter you already love is dressed up in black tie attire and better looking, simply gives you more confidence.
  12. Let me know Free...Florida very close to me so ship would be relatively cheap
  13. Thanks Jay...I get more compliments on this bag than I do my JDM gear:)
  14. Yup...getting something very special. Just hate waiting!
  15. NEED TO FUND MY NEW MACKENZIE BAG, SO THIS ONE IS NOW DIRT CHEAP. These almost never come up for sale, but this is one of the original MacKenzie all leather handmade golf bags. As good as it gets in a golf bag...handmade in Portland Oregon. These bags go for about $850 and you will be waiting 6-8 weeks for the bag. This is their original Walker model which is 8 inches in diameter and has two large pockets. Initials sewn in to the front of the bag can easily be removed or replaced. Bag is in good shape, with a couple normal wear scrapes as shown in pics. SOLD
  16. Played zodia wedges some years ago...cult like status and felt very solid all around.
  17. We're trying to tweak this guys swing when he can hit a 6 iron 240?? Help me here
  18. Looks like honma warmed over. I know I've said this 100 times before, but you have to wonder whether or not some of these iron makers use focus groups to check their reaction to the design of a club BEFORE going to market with them. I'm guessing if you put 50 golfers in a room and showed them these irons, 49 of them would be like WTH?. Maybe they are selling to that 1 in 50??
  19. OK, I just watched a video of Mr D who is humble enough not to mention here that he used to pitch for the Phillies, so I will now go eat a big slice of humble pie:) Check out the video at the end of this article: http://www.golftoimpress.com/tsg-featured-customer-rob-harrand-hard-hitting-golf-fanatic/
  20. Hey c'mon gents. Mr D brought up the long distance claim himself and some, including myself, doubted that claim and those doubts were about the trakman data not his claims. No real harm and I think Mr D handled it all with humor and an impressive pic:) All that being said and after watching the video more than a couple times, there is absolutely no way he's generating the type of speed Zubach or any of the LD guys generate. Not even close. Might he hit it a long way based on the fact that he's a big dude? Sure, but Sadlowski is about 158 lbs so size is a bit less meaningful these days. p.s. We all like to talk about Wrx like they're the evil empire but there are things I learn from TSG that I can't learn from Wrx and vice versa and the guys there are pretty direct and honest about claims of crazy distances especially when someone attaches a video.
