Searching for black golf gloves?? Might be as tough as a search for white golf balls!!

I bought a set of these from Stew a few months ago and they're the real deal. Never felt a wedge that felt so solid upon contact. Can't wait for the season to start to game em
  4. True dat, but I don't even notice it.
  5. I know it's early days, but have you tried it and if yes, what was the outcome?
  6. Might be post of the year right there
  7. This is the reason WRX has a rule in their BST section that says you're not allowed to comment on someone's price.
  8. I believe tae's set were the counterfeit set and hence the reason they went so cheap:) We've had everything possible w the Personals...heads only, counterfeit, $10K sets, virtually free personals, etc.
  9. The Personal were given away! We went from gouging to FREE! Crazy, lowest price you will EVER see on the Personals
  10. Was this ever on the set of Debbie Does Dallas? If yes, PM me
  11. Amen to that...I have a whole new group of friends who are equally nutty about their JDM gear compliments of TSG and with a general "pay it forward" attitude. Everything from people who have sent me clubs without asking for any monetary compensation on a "trust, try and buy" sort of program, to me letting certain members come to my club and hit a bunch of balls with my JDM gear. This sense of community is something NONE of the other forums could ever hope to accomplish. Yes, there are some here who appear to be taking advantage of limited runs or sold out items, but I think the best response is simply no response and sadly those members will either fade away or quickly get the message. Obviously its everyone's prerogative to ask for any amount of money and see what the market will bear, but it seems not in the spirit of this forum to do so.
  12. Too cheap! As you guys know, I am willing to let my Personals go for $10K. Only satinized Personals on the Planet!!! Call me
  13. A very apt description. I believe the old Superstrokes were sticky but now just super soft which for me is a little reminder to keep everything else soft.
  14. You are giving these away! If people haven't tried Chikaras, they are probably some of the best wedges EVER and doubly so for the protos.
  15. Superstroke....not JDM but if its good enough for KJ Choi, it's good enough for me. Takes the hand out of the stroke completely and now available in a bunch of different sizes and styles.

This was my best driver for last season and in an 8*. I had a black tie matrix in her and deadly accurate and loooong!
  17. Regular or stiff?
  18. Uhm...No!

Does "limited" infer that a manufacturer cannot produce a Version 2 of the product? In my eyes, ALL manufacturers are FOREVER coming out with something to entice you to pull out your credit card once again. I'm probably less offended than other because I buy with the expectation that a newer model is probably way past R&D by the time my "latest and greatest" is in my hands.
  20. 92MPH and TOTAL distance of 250 or so? For whatever reason, I had thought non conforming would get you much more. In my case, can't use nonconforming due to either money games or tournaments, but I'm sure there's a market for it. Most US guys will not buy noncomforming.

I would agree with Jay...almost NO golf gear appreciates in value over time EXCEPT putters and that's mainly for Scotty's. Witness when one of our members here tried selling Epons top of the line Zen in near new condition and was selling at a discount even though its limited edition w only 300 made. And that's for their hottest putter. We all know that JDM drivers, while they hold more value than their US counterparts, sell for about half of their retail price the minute you take off the shrink wrap.

This is why I never buy the "limited edition" concept by any manufacturer as I've said in the past. Saying limited edition is basically marketing fluff to make you think you're special because you now own 1 of x set of clubs or putter or whatever. Doesn't bother me one iota...I don't buy gear to collect it or to hope one day to make a profit...I own it to play it, so could care less if there are 10,000 sets made or 100.
