If the idea is to keep them as a collector's item then keep the in the original finish. If you plan to use them then whatever finish your eye likes best. Regardless great find.

That is the Ion version I have seen the black Diamana in another pic. The black version has yellow flowers and a different color script than the Ion. The black version looks best to me but i am not sure of the specs on it.

The Hogan hybrid is great. I like it alot more than than the others I tried and it cost less than them also. Although I have been looking at the Titleist utility and the nike utlity(NOT THE CPR), I might give each of them a try to see if they can unseat the Hogan. Thanx for the compliments on the bag it was a gift from my wife. She has actually bought the majority of my clubs that I have in the bag right now, except my irons and putter. :love:

Nice bag, love those irons :hogan: . I have the Apex shafts in my set of FTXs. Did you ever play the Apex shaft in your set and if so how does the project X difer(feel, ball flight, and etc.)?

I can't see anything replacing my irons or my putter. The irons are great. I can't see me replacing them anytime soon. The short irons are truely butter, I am able to have the feel I want and the long irons allow me to shape shots. As far as the irons dinging up I have had these for a year and they still look brand new to me, so I would have to say no, but I my friends tell me I baby my irons so take that for what its worth. There maybe better putters out there , but I putt great with this one and that is all I care about!

I believe the majority of us play golf for enjoyment, and if having some or all of the clubs your favorite pro uses cool. If it enables you to enjoy the game more so be it. I am not a Hogan staffer, but my wife bought me a Hogan staff bag with my name and the UT longhorn embroidered on the front . Because she knew I would enjoy it.
