just wondering if anyone is still playing the tourstage x-blade. If so, could you please state what you think of them. Thanks a lot, Dan
Dan, I had a set of the x-blade 2's with the M266V shafts. If you are playing alot of golf and are a decent ball striker you can play these clubs, but if you can't check off those two boxes you are better off with something more forgiving.

Weekly Pargolf magazine introduced a new ranking for conforming driver (even Japan will abolish HiCor drivers by 2008) and the Srixon W505 achieved first place :tsg_smilie_cool:

I have one for sale in the BST section for a very reasonable price.

I have a Srixon W-505 that I took in trade from Chris (Tourspecgolfer). It's a good 9/10 with very little use. The shaft is the stock Srixon SV3003J 67 gram, 3.5 tourque, high bend point shaft in stiff flex. Everything is standard including the grip and headcover. If you've been thinking about trying this club here's one at substantially less than retail. $450 shipped. Not interested in trades. Thanks.

I just bought the Tourstage X-ST 3 wood from Chris. I love the ballflight and was quite surprised at the forgiveness. I felt it was very easy to hit.
My only concern is my shaft selection. I got the stock TXF-55 in a Stiff/Regular. I feel it may be a little too whippy. I also have a J33 3 wood with the NV-75 Regular flex. It feels much stiffer than the Tourstage TXF-55 Stiff/Regular. Should I have gotten a stiff TXF-55 to be equal to the NV-75. Any experiences with the two? I'm going to get a 5 wood also so I need input before ordering. I may have to sell the 3 wood Stiff/Regular on ebay and get the Stiff.
Thanks in advance!
I have the TXF-FF in a Viq fairway wood in S/R and I agree it feels pretty whippy. Haven't had it out on the course though so we'll see how it performs there.

I bought a set from "Aluinser" on this board. Got them yesterday and went through the bag hitting each club on the range today. I was very suprised at how well I hit them. I am a 14 handicap player but have always had good tempo. I don't swing really hard at it (low 90's driver swingspeed). My clubs have the special Maru shafts which are "S" flex but still are not too stiff for me. I even hit the 3 iron reasonably well. You're not going to get an automatic good shot out of these irons but man do they feel good. So much better than my x-tours. Playing my first round with them on Monday. Will post another review if I have any more different feedback. Be glad to answer any questions though.

G-Field NC1 heads w/ new PICS
in Japanese Golf Clubs
Appears to me that yours are not the protos per Chris's description. I have a set of the same heads and was thinking that they were not the prototype.
