  1. Leonard Pittman here, been a member of this board for over 10 years now and have purchased thousands of dollars worth of equipment from my friend Chris and Tario. Went through about a six year period trying everything under the sun (my "manic" period) but have now pretty much settled down with a strictly "domestic" set (Pings) and no JDM clubs in the bag whatsoever. I've just recently come back to visiting this board after being away for quite awhile as far as regular viewing. I may decide to jump back in with a set of my favorite JDM irons (Yamaha) as their appears to be a couple of pretty good deals in the BST right now. Find that the irons make the most difference for me in my game.
  2. Interested in the wedges, what is the lie angle on them?
  3. I like the look of these but I don't see any discussions about them anywhere on the site. Are there any reviews? Thanks. Lennie
  4. ROCK BOTTOM PRICE DROP FOR THIS BASICALLY NEW WEDGE
  5. I have a very lightly used Bettinardi SS15 putter, 2013 model, at 33 inches from factory. Grip is Bettinardi mid size. With headcover as shown. $295 shipped.
  6. Sold the 52 almost immediately. No one interested in the 56?
  7. Still available, kind of amazing it's not been bought by someone at this price........
  8. Nice post. I would agree with everything you said. If they made it in a true 12 degree loft head, I think it would be perfect for me.
  9. 2013 Yamaha wedge, 56/12 with the Modus 3 120 stiff shaft, stock grip, etc. Mint. $155 shipped/paypal gifted CONUS. International shipping cost depends upon location. Cant tell from new, I gaaaronteee! Not interested in any trades guys, just cash.
  10. I've had four offers from international buyers but it doesn't appear that US Postal service allows shipment of packages that length to most overseas destinations....anyone know other options?
  11. Sorry, no trade interests at this time. Thanks to all who have inquired. Leonard
  12. GONE and not lowballed Price includes shipping to US addresses, may be a tad more internationally. No trade interests at this time. PM me with any questions, and thanks!
  13. Sent you a PM but got no reply.....are these still for sale?
  14. Per proshop info on other Mizuno shoes: U.S. Equivelant shoe sizes are as follows: (Please remember theat Japanese sizes are typically 0.5" wider than standard U.S. size) 24.5 = 6.5 25 =7 25.5 = 7.5 26 = 8.5 26.5 = 9 27 = 9.5 28 = 10.5 29 = 11
  15. I wear a size 9.5 in an athletic shoe so I believe this is pretty accurate.
  16. The hardest thing about this JDM driver addiction is that it is impossible to really know without actually playing the club whether it will work for you individually. We all seek out information on the board in the form of reviews, discussions, etc. and that helps, but you never really, really know until you play it. It's really an expensive gamble for those of us who don't have real deep pockets. That said, I doubt my most recent purchase will be my last!
  17. I bought these shoes a couple of years ago here on TSG. They are still in pretty good shape and I replaced the cleats last year and have not used them that much since. I think they sold for $225 or so new. I'll take $60 shipped in the CONUS and will ship them internationally for a few more bucks depending upon the location.
  18. Played my first round today with the S Yard driver (10.5 loft, stock SR flex shaft) and the third round with the 2013 Yamaha Tour irons. As most posters have noted, the S Yard produces a low trajectory with lots of roll. Not difficult to hit once you get the hang of it. Really, really rolls out. What felt like not-so-good hits produced drives in length equivalent to my best drives with various other drivers. Good solid hits produced extraordinary results. This is a really interesting club. I like the sound and the feel off the clubface. The shaft feels right for me. About a half degree more loft would be nice though. First time out with new Bettinardi SS15 putter. Wow, what a beautiful club (thanks TSG). I absolutely love everything about it. I made one birdie and missed birdie putts on eight other holes, but most of them were outside 6-7 feet. Putter feels really, really nice and soft, well balanced. I like it better than any of the Cameron putters I've owned and at least as well as the Gold's putters I've owned as well. Still liking the Yamaha (2013, Tour) irons. I have yet to completely wrap my mind around the fact that I am capable of playing these clubs. I still keep thinking I need to go back to (at least) my Ping S56's (I also have a set of G25's). The Yamahas are fairly precise instruments which provide much pleasure when applied correctly. The thing I really appreciate about them is that you really know what a well stuck shot is. If you miss it a little, you know that too. Of course, a really bad swing is, well, just bad. All that being said, I shot 77 today at a course I play fairly regularly (I am an 8 handicap). Made no doubles. So, it appears that I can certainly score with these more "player" oriented clubs; the challenge will be staying the course when the inevitable bad round pops up.
  19. Chanaa, I cant answer your question at this time having played only one round with the Yamahas. I souls need several rounds to get a better feel, although I am sure as others have said they may be a bit shorter than a CB.
