  5. So after everyone is done thumping thier chests on who has the best freaking wedge.....Back to the topic at hand- Are Y-cutters coming to Retail?????? Does anyone know? or should we all go back to wedge bashing?
  6. Besides the wieght?? Ball flight? stiffer? different kick point? tip stiffness? Thanks
  7. Is there a Mx 23 " Pro series", same head design but with much less offset? I really like the forgiviness of the 23's, but would love them if they had less offset.. and I thought I might I seen these before.. Have I? thanks Josh
  8. I believe I have seen them very recently selling for 125-200....BTW, if you get a chance to play with one do so.. it will surprise you how lethal these are..truely awesome. It has given me a fearless attitude on attacking the pins. Y groove are great if you have greens like cement, everything else tour groove are good n plenty.
  9. Best wedges I have ever had! Tour or Y grooves( I don't think Y are a necessity, as the tour groove have plenty on stopping power).. What I find is consistancy from any where around the green- these are the real deal and by far the most benefitical Tour product for most hacks. I love soft feeling wedges and th 304 SS are the softest, they feel like they just wrap around the ball when you flush them.. My game has greatly improved with these tour tools! I have now become wedge ho... 7 and counting of the 304 SS, with one Y groove. my 2cents
  10. I am in the middle of a transaction with him, but unfortunately I am unable to reach him through PM or email, so if anyone has a phone# I would appriecate it, please pm me? thanks Josh
  11. Actually there is an implied warranty of truth that TM is telling the general public when they make such statemnts I seriously doubt they can fudge/lie/mislead when literally 1000's of buyers are taking their word for it. The liability exposure from a class action lawsuit would be in the 10's of million$ and would dwarf any motivation to keep such a secret. They would just "No comment" if you were right IMO. wanna to buy a bridge??? I'm not saying the whose right or wrong here, only that I have a very hard time believing anything some PR guys says... The only true way to find out is to do some testing on a tour head and retail head through an independant source....any donations? especially if theres 10"s of millions on the line(right! good luck with that one, even if you had proof..) it could be well worth it?
  12. Here's my take on the whole tour issue... If the PR guy at TM is on the skinny(which I doubt, he is a PR guy after all- of course he wants everyone to believe: ' all our Tour players are playing the TP, off the shelf from edwin watts'- whatever, I don't buy it... 1) if they are- then the heads are xrayed and launch montitored to find which heads are the best of the barrels.... 2) it is also far to easy to use a different grade of Ti inget, more extensive Hipping process and different heat treating to create a different feel or whatever they want... regardless what the PR guys say.....
  13. Richard, Just curious... why go to all the trouble to uncover the truth? I know you have some bad a$$ drivers that can stand up to 'Tour issue' and any retail head made. ?????
  14. Please let me know if you have one for sale- I would prefer a pull, as I wan to keep costs down for a 3 wood experiment. Thanks Josh
