I happen to know the gentleman that wrote this article . We at one time belonged to the same course . While I'm not in total agreement with what he has to say in that article or in his philosiphy about shafts and the like , he is a very knowledgeable person about club building . He is located in Ottawa Canada and the owner of a company called Swing Sync .
