What other lofts are available?

Hey, guys; It's been a long time. In fact, I haven't been able to play for 1 1/2 years (don't ask me how) and now I'm starting to play. I'm looking for a driver and 3 and 5 woods, so I need your advice. I havent visited golf websites for 1 1/21 either so bear with me. Here's my current setup. TourStage X-Drive 405 w/stock GD shaft TourEdge 15* w/ Mitsubishi 70g shaft (reshafted) (forgot the model name) TourEdge 18* w/ the same shaft PRGR 220i 20* w/ Nippon 950 PRGR 220i 23* w/ Nippon 950 Mizuno MP-60 w/ Nippon 1150 Scratch Proto 53* Scratch Proto 59* Gauge Design Proto 370g head I realize my clubs are not that out-dated. haha... But I still need a new driver and fairway woods. What other tourstage drivers are good, or any other brands? Thanks, BE

Hmm . . . I was hoping they're not identical but it sounds like they are? I've hit the CV PRO's when it first came out a couple years ago and didn't particularly care for it. I'll probably pick up a the old SS-03 14* and SS-02 17* again.

Hey, guys; Long time no see! I'm looking for a couple of new fairway woods and I'm most interested in either RC's or Sonartecs. I was just wondering if the new Sonartec GS is the same head as the RC CV Pro. They have very similar paint scheme but don't know if they're identical. I'm especially interested to know whether the GS head is smaller than the CV. BE

My choice is the 220i. I now have both the 4+ and 3 with Nippon shafts. I had 320CX before these clubs. They played well but they just felt and sounded weird, which is important to me.

I have one "real" proto used by a JPGA tour player. There's no marks or letters other than the GD logo. This is the coolest GD proto I've ever seen. I'll tray to get some pictures. Let me know your e-mail.

Have anyone owned both the X-Drive 405 and the new 435? How would you compare them in terms of distance?

One thing I don't understand . . . If it is a defective head, how come it's in the original wrapper? Defective heads must be excluded (and destroyed) before putting the wrapper. Just my 2 cents. :tsg_smilie_tired:

I'd personally recommend a combination of a higher lofted head and a high kick shaft. That's what I'm trying to get at least.

Is the Axiv one of the custom options for X-Drive 435? :tsg_smiley_yes:

Ari, can you refinish AND regroove my Scratch wedges? I want some more aggressive grooves for more spin. How long does it take to have them refinished?

Based on my experience with other X-Drives, I somehow feel like TourStage conforming drivers are SHORTER than drivers in the US market like the Comp and G5. What do you guys think? The X-Drive 435 looks great but I want to make sure it's as long as my Comp 8.5 w/ Diamana. :tsg_smilie_wah:

Jack; Tell us what you know about the shaft. Is it one of the stock options? Which Tour AD exactly is it? Anything you know about the shaft. I was going to go with X-Drive 435 but the Nike just looks like it's going to hit the ball LONGER!!! Also, is this a .860 head?

Does anyone know if Gauge Desing has a plan to release a true blade? I'd love to buy GD irons if they make some true blade or some mixed set with NC-1 long irons. :whistle:

Is this shaft Japan only? Can you get get them from US Nippon dealers like Chip? Thanks.

Well, you have only 13 clubs. You might want to add a ball retriever stick to make your bag complete. :spit: :blackeye: But that is one sweet bag for sure. How about a picture of the staff bag???

Different models of Nippons have different stiffness, so I'll give you the rifle scale numbers, so you can figure out yourself. DGS300: 5.7 DGX100: 6.7 Each stepping will change +(-) .2 Nippon 950 S: 5.3 Nippon 1050 S: 5.3 Nippon 1150 S: 5.7 Nippon 950 X: 6.0 Nippon 1050 X: 6.0 Nippon 1150 X: 6.4 Haven't had measured them with digital analyzers, so take it for what it's worth. :spit:
