the new fourteen fairway wood is very nice

So with ns pro 1050s in my irons, i have my three wedges in the standard dynamic gold shafts. I need to extend the length of two of them, so I figured it would be a good time to get new shafts. What shafts do people go with? I was thinking either the 1150s, or the super peening red. thanks.

Went from tour spin milleds to fourteen v3s, no desire to change.

When i was asking about the differences between new and old one, i meant the epon 460 with red sole accents vs epon z460? not too interested in the emb although it looks great. the "new" one i was looking at was this one I quit golf for about a month due to overcomplicating my golf game, back on track, hc is officially now a 12.2 index, my swingspeed for my driver can go anywhere from 95 to north of 105. With my superquad setup, it has been great, except for one thing. Obviously first the swing solves all, but aside from that, strikes heel side on my driver end up spinning so much. I am looking for a particular driver which has more of a hotspot towards the heel than anything else. With looking at JDM drivers, I am definitely interested in feel, want to enjoy the game not so much be the best out there you know?

thanks for the replies so far, the new diamana seems interesting, any info on it? is it supposed to play like a blueboard? i noticed its torque stats are higher than the rest of the diamana line, 3.9 (vs 2.8 for regular diamanas) I get pretty ideal launch numbers with my current setup 10.5 loft, 1 degree open, altus stiff tipped 1/2" Also is the new epon shallower than the old one? High spin is the thing I need to be careful of, so I was thinking of whiteboard (its great in my 3 wood) but am open to options.

I looked at gocchin (thanks for posting btw) driver shootout and the fourteen did very well. The new epon 460 (not the EMB) seems similar to the past epon which look really nice. How does one decide which one to go with? I'll most likely put an altus or whiteboard in, depending on what the driver needs. I'm really happy with my current driver setup, but want to try a quality jdm offering to compare it with and possibly replace. Sorry for all the new jdm quesions, thanks for all the help!

I keep reading about it, I am definitely very happy with my current driver, but very interested in the deep face epon. Anyone in the area? (or Chris, any chance of a demo program?) My old man's honma forged titanium driver has a very springy feel which I'm looking for (yeah I know its hi-cor, but that difference is negligible) thanks.

Thanks for the replies so far, how the TD+ seems similar to an idea pro hybrid. Is that a somewhat accurate assumption? if so, I'm very interested in trying it. Also looking at the X-UT. Excluding other factors, which head will hit higher, x-ut or td+? Thanks. I just realized I'm well on my way to a JDM spec bag, need to find a good replacement for a superquad.... heh heh...

My favorite hybrids have been the a2ts and the idea pro, looking to try something new, especially in the JDM flavor. Any suggestions or experiences?

Another vote for fourteen v3. played them for the past 5 months, and they still have tons of bite on them. they look simple, no wild grinds, but they just seem to work.

I tipped a white board 1" off the tip, and it still plays a little loose. I know CPMs aren't entirely accurate and highly volatile, but it bounced a weak stiff at best with a 1" tipping. your results may vary.

This bag in black looks so perfect in my eyes, has anyone bought one? TSG, do you guys have this one available? (I know its listed in the store, but not sure if you have it in stock) If so, I want this, BADLY.

As I'm building my next set, been interested in this set. I currently am playing black golds and love them but wondering if anyone has any experience with this shaft.

How would you do it? Or for those who already have, what advice or experience do you have? Coming form Nike Forged MB (which I love, but I keep hearing about Miuras and have to try them) 3 and 4 iron: CB-301 Up to now, I've been playing a 3 hybrid, but thinking of going back to a 3 iron, might not hurt as the longer the iron, the more prone I am block it out. 5-7 irons: CB-202s 8-PW irons: Blades Shafts: I've very much enjoyed the Black Gold shafts, thinking of trying the nippon. If possible, can we stay away from being judgmental and just add our ideal setups? I think it's more fun that way.

I was just using what I thought as an example, but let me restate, 1) Why do some JDM iron sets have more offset in the shorter irons than the long ones? I am asking what is the rationale for this. Thank you.

Gocchin and Chris, thanks for the replies. I have not yet hit the x forged at a fitting, but will do so soon. But I have seen the r7 forged in person and liked the way they setup. But I am still most curious about the epon j, you guys don't have single iron demos for either the epon j or the r7 forged do you? I think I will flip a coin later tonight between r7 and epon j and let you guys know :)

I have all my life played MBs and blades, and finally want to get into a good CB because I forsee the amount of time I play golf going down a great deal in the near future. The three irons I am curious about are the three above, i know the epon j is going to be regarded as the best quality forging, and I've read a lot of the posts related to the irons, but any additional insight is appreciated.

How is the ballflight with this setup? I am looking to switch out my blades and the epon Js seem very nice. How do these compare to the r7 forged? I am going to go with one of the two for my next iron.

1) Tour Issue Spin Milled Vokey. 60.08. It has been used a year, the mill marks on the bottom are not as visible, but the grooves are still razor deep. You will see how the groove is a --------, inside the groove, there are vertical cut marks to make the grooves as deep as possible. Has an orange DD grip. Still has tons of play left to it. 175 shipped. DG wedge shaft. 2) Sonartec t35 54.10. In great shape, mill marks still prevalent, grooves are obviously still excellent. Shafted with a Black gold in stiff flex. 85 shipped. 3) Adams A3 Boxer 19 degree, with prolaunch red stiff shaft. hit two balls with it, 120 shipped. 4) Mizuno mp fli-hi 21 degree, shafted with black gold stiff flex. excellent condition. 90 shipped. 5) callaway us open driver headcover, the white and orange one, never used. 60 shipped. 6) Adams a2ts 19 (weight port head) 904hb stiff flex. 230 shipped. 7) Fourteen Golf v3 54.10. hit 5 balls with it, too much spin. 180 shipped. here are the pics. do these provide anymore spin than normal 588s? or are these mainly a feel thing, being miura forged.

is this driver usga conforming?
