Here goes... Still in the wrapper. Plasticky goodness! It's out! Yup, it's as soft as it looks. Big "Circle G" My former baby and my new baby... Good view of the beach slits. I compared it to my Tour Cameron and the GF putter definitely feels softer. The sound at impact is phenomenal! Damn, why does it have to be so cold in Chicago! :( I need to get to a real green soon! Droopy
  2. Nevermind, I just got it!!!!!!!! No additional fees... :) Will start a new thread and post pics once I test against my Tour Cameron.
  3. Question for all those who own a Gold's Factory putter: When your putter arrived, did you have to pay any customs or import taxes? I'm just curious if I should answer my door with a checkbook in hand... Thanks, Droopy
  4. I'm getting the beads boron finish. Droopy
  5. I agree; much faster than I expected!
  6. Remember, your putter was the main inspiration for mine. There is no better...only different. :)
  7. I will definitely do the indoor "carpet comparo" when I receive the putter. ;P
  8. I ordered it on 11/26...
  9. Detailed pics? Oh yes, there will be detailed pics...oh yes.
  10. Yes! I just got notification that my Gold's Factory putter is on the way. I found a pic on Sasaya-san's blog of an under-construction putter (see pic below). I'm pretty sure that this is my putter, but I'm NOT 100% sure... SO excited! Droopy
  11. My Gold's Factory putter is on it's way from Japan! Yippee! Droopy
  12. My sentiments exactly! That's why I went straight to the top, bit the bullet and got the Gold's Factory putter.
  13. Besides the issue of different weights, what are the main differences between the Nippon 950, 1050, and 1150 Tour? Playability? Etc... Thanks, Droopy
  14. Heh heh, I was just joking. I completely agree with you, I've never played an insert in my life but I love the way Sasaya-san's insert looks. I actually like the screws too!
  15. Thanks Ridgecrest, I'll check it out... Droopy
  16. Oh, I see... either way, I still can't wait!
  17. The weights will be on the sole. There are no markings on the sole except the 4 weights and the slit line. It's the beads boron finish on the #2. Also of note, when looking at the putter from the top or bottom, all paint fill is white. When looking at the face or cavity, all paint fill is black. Isn't the putter made of SS303? Droopy
  18. Lung-chia, Actually, the biggest inspiration for my putter was...yours. I hope you don't mind. It's similar to yours except instead of 1 pair of 12mm tungsten weights on the bottom, I have 2 pairs of the 9mm weights. I ordered the slit line as well as the insert. It also says tour proto on the bumpers. The Gold's logos were originally slated to look just like yours but I just emailed Chris to change it to: http://forum.tourspecgolf.com/index.php?showtopic=26469 (hope it's not too late) It's the one that you duplicated in your post. The one with the black cherry dot with a G in the middle (in the cavity). Droopy
  19. WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW!!!!!
  20. Unless I decide to take a trip somewhere warm, it'll be my carpet for a few months. :( Maybe I'll get one of those huge putting greens like gocchin has...
  21. It's official! I put in my order for a Gold's Factory putter with TourSpecGolfer on Monday. I will post pics once I receive it. Now the wait has begun... Droopy
  22. Heh heh, mine is a SSS Newport Beach also! I have designed my own Golds putter and will be sending it out for it in the next few days... :)

I vote for the Epon AF wedges. I should have a 56 and a 60 with NSPro 1150s coming sometime in the future. :) Droopy
  24. What is the insert made of? Also, is the Mamiya FF shaft steel or graphite? Thanks, Droopy
