Thanks Ken! That's what I wanted to hear, just a rough estimate.

Does anyone know the frequency of the Grafalloy Blue X-Flex shaft in cpm's? The shaft measures 44.5" in my TaylorMade R540 driver. Cheers, Jarrod

Thanks pitbull808 for the pics of all the blade putters; it was well worth the wait. The rest of your clubs are mint too!
  6. You're smarter than I am. I'm not sure I'd want the R7 or R580 3 wood back anyway.......I think he likes them so much he's slept with them, lol. He's soon to be my brother-in-law so at least the clubs are still in the family, hehe. Good luck bro :smile2:
  7. lol, I don't think I'd be able to pry the R7 from my friend's kung-fu grip, he likes it a lot. He regularly out drives me, even though he's a couple of inches shorter in height and about 30kg lighter! I saw in another post that you're thinking of trying some other Taylor Made gear when it comes out (new TM Hybrid with adjustable screws), so it's definitely worth trying the R7. Like you say, you can resell for a good amount.....apart from when you give great equipment away like a mint R7 and R580 3 wood to a friend for next to nothing :wah:
  8. I did the opposite, I bought a TM R7 and didn't like it much so I passed it on to a friend; then I went for the Mizuno MP-001. Like you I'd like to put a nice custom graphite shaft in the MP-001 - maybe a Diamana 83 stiff :money:
  9. I guess no-one has been able to help you post the clip of your swing; which is disappointing because I was looking forward to catching a glimpse. By the way Mike, how's your MP-001 driver working out for you? My MP-001 has been in my bag since November 2004 and will probably remain for another 6 months at least.
  10. Thanks for the info on your putter studatnu :smile2:
  11. studatnu, I love that Yes Sophia putter, how well do you putt with it at 32"? That's the exact model and length putter I'm considering buying. The rest of your bag is cool too!

    370cc MP-001 - long and forgiving.
  13. Just PM PxExG as I see in his profile the Nike forged irons are still for sale. I wish I had the cash at the moment to buy them from him :wah: http://www.tourspecgolf.com/modules.php?na...mode=post&u=144

I love all those blade putters  Over the last couple of months I've been looking for the cleanest looking heel shafted blade I could find i.e. I would love a completely blank soled blade putter. I've used a Tommy Armour Silver Scot 1 blade putter on and off over the last 7 years and recently I've been looking at buying a Designed By Cleveland blade putter for US$79 The Cleveland blade has writing on the sole but it's free from sight lines and dots and is relatively cheap. pitbull808, is there any chance of seeing the soles of some of those blade putters? Thanks.
  19. What's a reasonable price to pay for this particular driver on eBay? If I won I'd keep the Fujikura 757 Stiff shaft in it at the moment. I've already placed a couple of bids under my eBay ID of titleist1979, and I noticed a bid from HoMStYLz too. As soon as I have to pay over AUD$250 or more for an item from overseas, then it's subject to a whole heap of import duties when the item arrives in Australia. So I guess I wouldn't want to pay any more than about US$180. I only found out about the 300 Tour drivers for the first time through this post, but I sure like what I see. This eBay auction ends in about 23 hours time - thanks for any assistance. :money: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...7147639273&rd=1

I noticed the same thing about Tiger's 3 wood having a steel shaft; it certainly didn't look like the Diamana.

Nice solid setup! No need to change clubs or your stand bag for a while.

Chromium, you can find the Nike Copper Forged Wedges in the TourSpecGolf catalog for $209. Great looking wedges! http://www.tourspecgolf.com/catalog/produc...products_id=174

Sell the R7 TP since the 983E won't have as good a resale value. The Titleist 983E is the sort of club worth hanging on to in the long run especially since you keep on coming back to it. I had the 983K for over a year but always wanted the 983E because of the deep face. Good luck.
