  1. I don't know where you read this, but my expierence is that the NAKS i've build have a hosel; dept of 1 3/4 " which is deeper than most of the other companies I've dealt with. so that would makae it play stiffer, IMO.
  2. A must read for every golfer, IMO, is Harvey Pennicks, Little red book

Well it may be the best thing since sliced bread, but Maxfli is so low on the Ball totem pole they will have a big hurdle to jump before this one becomes a threat to the ball market. They have lost all of their main ball supporters, Freddie(to Bridgestone) Jack(to Callaway) and Norman (to Titleist), so they have no tour exposure and IMO tour exposure sells golf balls. Maybe they can get there Staff players to play and endorse it, Sergio, Daren and a few others might have some effext on the ball's popularity. I for one hope they make it ,be good to see maxfli back in the winners circle.
  4. [/colo shaft orientation is still an iffy thing depending on who you talk to. flo'ing and spining have been around for some time, Pure'ing is relatively new and is done by a computer and is fairly accurate, the best I've found is Peeking, done by Advanced shaft in Houston, its a relatively newer method and its all about locating the centroidial axis of the shaft. I've had this done to my present playing set and it really works, The Miss hits just go further and closer to the target. www.advancedshaft.com
  5. They have been using this ball in all the tournaments so far this year, and from what I heard Nike is about to introduce a promotion offering 2 black one blacks with ever dozen of the black one 's purchased.
  6. I'd try the Graphite Design PM_702, should be a great combo with your swing speed and using a callaway ball.
  7. the parallel shaft has a tip dia of .370 and a parallel section from the tip to the first step . the taper is a .355 and gets larger from tip to first step.
  8. [/color It has been my contention that is caused buy an over active right hand in the back swing, here's a good drill to try , line up naturally, then open your stance about 10* to the left, when your ready to start your stroke lift your thumbs off the grip, this will ensure that you make a stroke with your shoulder, works really well after a few practic estrokes.
  9. I've heard that they are available, on a min of 16 set order, otherwise they have to be sold installed by an authorized dealer, they come taper tip only.

I was told they would be released to the general club making public after the PGA Show, but I just checked there web site and nothing is on it yet.
  11. The Nakashima 420 is an awesome club, I've built a few and the Fuji shaft should make it even better, but they also have a new 460 due out soon that really looks good in pics.

  15. first off, Forged is not a material its a process . Secondly there are some new stainless material that are every bit as soft as carbon steel, some even softer according to the rockwall hardness scale. I personally use and recommend Infiniti Irons Made form JS-217 Stainless then annealed in a vaccum to align the molecular structure to the tightness of a carbon steel. They feel as soft as any forging I've played to date and softer than some of the coin forgings offered by the OEM's. In fact we had an Infiniti builder actually build a set for a handicapped person in a wheelchair and bent these Irons over 12 degrees. and if you play golf, you're my friend
