  1. lol, i dont think i have any enemies, at least not since high school...and we just fought and got it over with then. hes probably still a pussy. i should throw it in the back of a truck and show up at the store with it and bring it in and be like "here"
  2. so i come home from practicing after work and i cook my girlfriend dinner. we eat, i throw the dishes in the dishwasher and we head downstairs to my recroom to take a nap. about 20 minutes later, i wake up to get some water. i run upstairs to get some and find the kitchen filled with smoke, and the smoke alarm just started going off. i run downstairs and hit the breaker for the dishwasher and it calmed down...aired out the kitchen, still smells a tad like burnt plastic. its a kitchen-aid, and my house is only a year old and the wiring is spot on good....anyone else have any problems with kitchen-aid stuff or experience with their customer service? i have a feeling this is going to be a fun time sorting this s**t out.
  3. chris... whats the lowest loft that baby comes in? anything between 13 and 17 degrees to possibly use as a 3-wood?

usually the better the player, the higher the COG, because they typically dont have trouble getting the ball up in the air. a lot of people also like the COG lower in the longer irons with lower loft to promote a higher ballflight, and a slightly higer COG in shorter irons which already have a higer loft (i.e. combo iron sets). the thing to consider is that if you add/detract weight to lower a COG you might also change the swingweight of the club. a lot of it is personal preference, and how well they hit their irons and how consistent the ballflight is from one club to the next thru the set. good luck! -sammy
  9. picked up a 580XD TP and put a Diamana 73 in it, we'll see how this goes...
  10. welcome! -the sole will look like the original 500 series, not the sharper lines on the retail xd series... -the .5 will be underlined for the degree of loft -the TP crest will be on the toe -the serial number will be TXXXXXX or there will be none at all -the tip diameter will be .335, as opposed to retail .350 post a pic, it will be easiest to tell that way good luck, sammy
  11. lol thats the point, to turn your speakers up to hear it and make you blast that you like gay porn really loud so people hear that
  12. i loved my steelhead plus, sometimes i wish i never got rid of it. if you like the way it sets up, try the new big bertha fairways, theyre somewhat similar. also i heard the fusion fairways are decent. also, you cant go wrong with sonartec. lastly, if you can track down a TM 300 tour, theyre also good for distance. sometimes when mine's in my bag, it comes within 10 yards of my driver if i strike it solid and square. someone told me the R5 fairways are similar in distance to the 300 tour, so you might want to give that a shot as well. as far as shafts go, go demo a bunch and see what you like for feel. i like the fuji vistas for fairway shafts, and the old-school EI-70's. good luck!

flexibility...any rubber band stretches, and back extension machines (be careful though, start with light weight) as for leg strength, squats and leg press are good, but just make sure you balance it with upper body workouts to avoid strains...upper body one day, lower body the next, then a day off with maybe some light jogging, then repeat. good luck!

i think...when watching in person, i noticed a lot of tour pros's heads are dead still. for what its worth, i had a lesson a few years ago and asked about it, and the instructor said that the less head movement you have, the less likely you are to hit a shot fat or thin because your frame of reference doesnt change. another good example to watch for this is charles howell iii.

correct for the most part, you do want to launch it high for carry, but with a soft tip shaft you could maybe get a tad bit more roll out of the lower loft without sactificing a higher launch. it might not work for your swing, but give it a shot.
  18. that whacked out broad up up near san jose. what the press didnt say was how shes pulled s**t like this before, she sued el pollo loco (its a chicken place for those not from the west, and yes, it means the crazy chicken in spanish) when her daughter got sick after eating there. wasnt food poisoning or anything big, but she still got like 20 grand and all medical expenses paid for her child...she made a huge deal about it. she also has done something else similar but i cant remember what, if i can find the article i'll post a link, it was in the san fransisco chronicle.

  22. really? i thought it was the other way around....thanx :blackeye:
  23. get a 300 tour or 200 tour smoothie in 15*, they have a slightly deeper face so it wont launch it as high. you'll like it so much you might sleep with it.

  25. one last thing...dont force it! remember one of will smith's lines from "the legend of bagger vance" (and if you havent seen it, go to blockbuster and rent it)... "inside each and every one of us is one true authentic swing...something that cant be taught or showed to ya', but something that has to be remembered" worse comes to worse, stop thinking, and have a lash at it.
