  1. Does anyone have any pics on the tour van issue rare released Air Hammer XL? Apparently the face was Miura forged and the shaft is a rare prototype Fujikura Speed Shaped Shaft? I thought I saw Craig Parry and Peter Lonard each using it but I may be mistaken
  2. I would say first that DG's feel better and are more responsive. But that is what you get when you ask an open ended question. Technically I would have to say that the DG offers a more controlled ballflight throughout the tapered set with a better feel from the clubhead. When I say that I mean more responsive and softer on most hits. It is also the most played shaft on tour. Rifle's IMO are a firmer feeling more abrasive shaft. They are frequency matched stepless shafts, which I believe is more of a mkt tool rather than a performance benefit. I never did care for Rifle's primarily because they didnt feel as good. Remember this is my opinion, this may not make any sense to you but if I had to recommend anyone to pick one I would give everyone the DG. It just feels and plays better than the Rifle.
  3. I think you should realize what you are doing before you try to cure it. What I mean is that you are most likely bobbing up and down with your upper body during your swing. I have had trouble pulling the frederik jakobsen. If you have seen him swing you see that on his backswing his left shoulder bobs down and his spine angle bends more towards the golf ball. Conversely, the opposite happens on your downswing which would explain why you are topping the ball. I take a club and cross my arms with it tucked into my chest and do shoulder turns while holding my posture. It keeps my spine angle consistent. As for some practical drills I would get onto a video tape or have a friend watch you hit balls. Develop a smoother tempo as this usually is a symptom of a very quick snatch back. I hope this helps
  4. What about all those guys in the Re-Max long drive events, I didnt see DGX400's in their GBB 6.5 drivers???

Yes Jeff Thanks I have done that before, not what I am looking for. If anyone out there knows please answer. Are there any retail outlets that sell .560 extentions. I am not looking to find 8 graphite shafts for a 3" segment. Thank you.

yea i figured that but extra shafts I lack...any retail outlets that i can purchase these?
  7. Yes, my guess would be april teamed up with a nice phil/major championship commercial. I hit them last week and thought eh, but its a nice change from Callaway and keeps their look intact
  8. I have never done one but I find it hard to believe they would not use the correct bore out of the factory for such a large head. Give that club to anyone with a 110+ swingspeed and sooner or later its gone...but I may be wrong
  9. Those above have been listed several times over the past year and a half on ebay...I do not believe that they are new, just a tour prototype that could be a future revamp of the new pro combo's scheduled to come out
  10. Quigley is a member at the club I work at here in Florida. He was here a week before the Mercedes playing with his dad and our Head Pro. Absolutely kills the fusion.
  11. Hips look like they are moving at a good speed, thats why you hit the ball far because your shoulder line is parallel to your target line and your hips are facing the target at impact. Looks to me like your swing has a very quick transition and you move laterally to the ball on your misses. Your lag looks excellent but I would try to concentrate as someone said above get closer to the ball which should give you a little more power, but also more consistency. In addition to that, get back behind the ball more. Very nice though.

Anybody know where I can find .560 extentions for ladies graphite irons???
  13. I recently sold my r7 TP which was about as heroic as dumping Enron stock before its collapse... ...I purchased a 983E and decided to put in an Aldila Aldalite tour shaft in which isnt any special task its .335 so let me ask my main question. When heating the head I pulled the shaft and everything came out soundly. The problem was that the black "pin" that sits in the soleplate melted and is now a hole in the bottom of the head. I have previously re-shafted my 975d several times with this not occurring. What is this plug, pin, whatever it is, and what should I do to fix this? Thanks in advance. ~Steve
