When using a heating rod are you guys also using a shaft puller? If so, how do you prevent the head from being scratched while up against the puller?
  5. I have a non-conforming ERC HOT and in my opinion, it is MUCH different sounding (and LOUDER) than my FT-3 Tour (retail US). The FT-3 is quite muted in comparison.
  6. The JV55 feels to me like the NVS65, which I have in my FT-3 Tour. Both seem to play weak to flex.
  7. I'm interested but not familiar with either head ... give me a few to do some research. Thanks for your interest :)
  8. I always wanted to try a non-conforming driver, but this thing is just ridiculous. My buddies would never let me get away with this one. Ten yards maybe, but not this. :tsg_smilie_wah: I thought I might be able to get away with it by silencing it a bit, but the distance is still the issue ... This club has seen very little range time. No issues whatsoever. ERC HOT headcover included. $375 shipped ConUS. References available. ****WARNING**** This head is LOUD !!!!! :atsg_smilie_callaway:
  9. Is there a "simple" way to help quiet something like the Callaway ERC HOT which doesn't have weight ports??
  10. If they're anything like the HOT driver, look out!!!! Long and LOUD !!!! I was constantly looking around me on the range the other day when hitting the HOT driver, hoping no one was too bothered by the sound. It sure is unique :)
  11. If budget is a concern perhaps a nice used set of TS-202s ... not sure how you feel about offset though ...
