Hello All, I was wandering if any on you fine people could inform me of a good place to get a Cameron putter refinished aftermarket? I work for a golf store and can get a pretty good deal from Titleist to get my JAT restored to original (actually I can get it done for cost), but I'd rather just get the head refinished in like a 3x black finish rather than get the entire club reworked. I went to blackoxideservices.com, but they quoted me a price that is about $10 or so higher than it costs me to go through Titleist, which I find is much too much, because Titleist will pretty much make everything new on the putter for $10 less than this place charges me for just refinishing the head (assuming I remove the shaft first). I was thinking something like $60 or so would be more reasonable, but would a price like that reflect poor workmanship? Please let me know your feedback and experiances. Thanks.

I am being very specific about this, but if anyone can provide any insight at all as to where I can find a Tour Bobby Grace Putter Cover that fits the Amazing Grace MOI, I would greatly appreciate it. My black neoprene cover that came with it is getting holes and the velcro is peeling. I am looking for one that is of similar style to the plush Macgregor stock offering, but without any Macgregor logos (I cannot advertise MacGregor, but can promote Bobby Grace). Thanks. :rolleyes:

Yeah, I understand. I don't model my bag after Adam Scott's just because the stuff he has is what I want to have. His opinions on the performance and cosmetics of clubs match mine, and that is why we play similar equipment. Our games are fairly similar in that we both have a very high trajectory ball flight and enjoy a traditional set up. I believe strongly that I have the ability to play each and every piece of equipment I own, optimally, otherwise I wouldnt find such a difficult set of clubs to play. I chose these because of unmatched feel, workability, cosmetics, and trajectory control that they provide IMHO. Also, personal use discounts are a golfer's best friend when you work in the industry. :cool:

I love the trajectory the 680's put on the ball in their current state. I am very picky in cosmetics when in to comes to my clubs, so porting the irons to bring the ball flight down is only really and option for me in my wedges, but I like the way my wedges fly too as is...no complaints thus far. I never cared for the look of the 670's, which is what kept me away from purchasing them...for a mid-low trajectory blade, the muscle seemed too low for me. I like the really high muscle position of the 680's.

Yeah, I know he's playing the 983K...but he played the E for a long time, which is what I had before I traded it for the 905S. I was glad to see him finally go to graphite and get some technology in his bag. Anyone know where I can get a 690.CH 2 Iron in DGS S300 like his?...that would be a great find for me, I'd like a little bit of forgiveness on that club...other than that the 680's are without a doubt the best forged blade I have ever hit, and I have hit ALOT of 'um, only thing better might be the 681's.

:love: Yeah, Titleist all the way for a couple years now. I play to a 2.5, which seems high for some of the pros on this site. I will adjust to not being one of the better players, if you guys still accept me.
