I've got in my possession a rare proto Fuji shaft. Its shafted in a retail 8.5* 975 J head, playing at 44.5" long. I can't tell you what the specs on this shaft are because I don't know, niether does Chad Embry at Fujikura or Todd over at BSG. I pulled the grip to check the numbers but that didn't help, all Mr. Embry could tell me was considering where I got the club its probably some type of prototype made for a pro. Well here is where I got it, a friend of mine who is a PGA pro had worked with Fuji to make this shaft, when it came to him he through it in a retail head to see if he liked it, obviously he didn't. He sold the club to me and here it is, I actually had forgotten about until I was going through my closet a few days ago. I've had this club for about two years now and I payed quite a bit for it then but I don't know what kind of $ to put on it now. I think that BTRUDI is right, I to tought they were Apache but after I saw a close up of them yesterday I found out they were some type of ALDILA. They had NV on em' and the same type of graphics as the lizard!

For sure, I called there yesterday and their voicemail said they would be out of town till Monday. I'm definatley going to order some next week. Josh

A few months ago I purchased my first Hybrid, a 19* TM mid resue, I pulled the stock shaft and decided to insert an NV Hybrid 105S. Well I loved it so much that I decided to buy another mid rescue this time a 15.8* tour head. Well the problem that I had was that the tour head is 335 and the NV hybrids are 355. I just got of the phone with a tech at Aldila and he told me that he had just got of the phone with someone with the same question I had about the hybrid not fitting into to the mid rescue tour heads. He said that what they are doing on tour is inserting the NV 85 and tipping 2", he said this made the same setup as the NV hybrid. Josh
