I'd love to foam one of those old ERC Fusion drivers from a few years back. See if it can actually sound any more dull or flat than it already is.
  2. They look so tech! Like some sort of new sports car.
  3. If you grind it down to the point where you like how it reacts with the turf, that's the first step. The second is finding out if the swing weight has changed any, because that will affect the feel of the wedge when you swing. If you get it done professionally, or if you do it your self, make sure you get the swing weight checked (they have a machine for that as you probably know), before and after the grinding to see where you stand after you figure out the bounce. If you need some extra weight to put the swing weight back up to where you want it, lead tape is the best answer. Tour pros do that sometimes when they get special grinds to keep the feel they want.
  4. So far I've seen two completely different versions of the TM utlity iron. There's this one: The one that you were showing us before that looks like a deep, under cut cavity-back iron with an extra wide sole... And this one: Which looks more like the other utility irons I've seen as of late with the hallow, muscle, cavity whatever and the moveable weights on the sole, heel side, and out on the toe. Like the Titleist 503.H and others in shape. Two utility iron models from the same company? Is this like the Rescue Mid v.s. the (less popular) Rescue Fairway? Any explaination for this one?

I like the colours of the Scotty.
  6. If you want to know anyway, the face angle is dead square. If your thinking of buying this driver, it's a good choice.
  7. I'd love to make-over my putter. I'd be going the opposite way that the Gauge putter went. I'd really like to make my Chrome and Satin Yes! Tracy into an all black-chrome version and re-do the paint fills. In fact I'd black-chorme alot of my clubs if I could. :tsg_smilie_cool: I'd probably stick with just the putter if anything though.
  8. That's an incredible looking driver...I'd love to give one a shot someday.
  9. "Befuddle" is a great choice of words to describe this. We'll all be dying on this date 6/6/06. :tsg_smilie_wah: :tsg_smiley_laughatyou: That hot, sunny afternoon in June is about to get hotter!
  10. For your answer to the question about Shingo, this should help you with that: This is Shingo at Augusta just a couple of days ago. I'm guessing that he uses a conforming version of the DFI over here, that way he doesn't have to change the model of driver he's comfortable with.
  11. I would so much like to have one of these to replace my 3 iron. They look like one of the best bets for a driving iron. One of these with an NV shaft in it would rule the long game for me.
  12. Awsome, great link! I like those Lime coloured iron shafts that S.K. Ho has. Anyone have any info on those? Brand, availability?
  13. "Let's look the judges for our style verdict..." 10 10 10 "Looks like ComoCome takes the title!" Wow the blue Godzilla cover is amazing.
  14. I say Scratch for all the custom options they have with them. They can be made for your swing and finished to your liking. You can also get nice paintfilled hand stamps on them. If you really want a personal set. that's you go to company. Although I've never tried them, I know for a fact that they're the best there is, all I've heard is good reveiws.
  15. I like that fact that now you have lots of extras, and good extras too. Having extras is great if your not swinging it well with one driver, you can simply switch to another. Three great choices to put in play. It makes me wish I had lots of different drivers to chuck in and out of the bag. Although, having one driver is really good if you can rely on it all the time. I need to steal myself a new driver off that there Ebay.
  16. Basically my dream putter would be my current putter (Yes! C-Groove Tracy) but with a new paint job and finishing. It would have to be finished in a black chrome, with a new sightline and my name on it. It would look like this...
  17. Nice stuff, Adams is a good brand that people sometimes forget about. I have a Yes! putter as well, though yours is minus the C-Grooves, early model I'm guessing?

The Callaway Opti Fit system for shaft fitting is coming in April to retailers so I'll get a chance to get fit for the X 460 with a wide range of shafts on the Vector. I really don't like the NVS at all so having that as a stock in an FT-3 would be crap. I'm hoping my local store will have this coming.

I've reconsidered the FT-3 for the X 460 Tour. Although it has a nice shaft in it, I may still have it ordered with the SIX.

It also may go into an FT-3 Fusion. If I can get the FT-3 with it as a custom option It'd be one of my top combos. I need a shaft that won't pull left on me. My speed has gone up a bit since then but I love the ultra light weight. If anyone knows how I can get ahold of an FT-3 with a Fuji Six in it (custom option) give me a shout.
  21. The thing I love about this company is that it puts such an effort in fine details. The look of all their products has such fine work put into it.

    Nice Miuras!
  23. Sounds great, can't wait for the verdict. Go TourStage!
  24. I can't say I've yet to experiance such a thing. I'm not too picky with the clubs I choose. If it works well and looks okay, it's in the bag. For the driver, which I'll be looking into for something new, it's all about the longest one there is because for me accuaracy is usually not a big concern. For me the process is easy, for others though, they play well with more specific considerations, and may experience this "honeymoon" effect.
