The1stunners bag of pimp stick$
Those grips are where it's at, Blue plus Cord. Two beutiful things in one. Ant the putter is also my favourite part, I've never seen one finished in Red.

Torque--what does it mean?
Mostly feel; shafts with high torque have a softer feel. The low tourque comes with a harder, stiffer feel at impact. It used to mean more than that when graphite was in the early stages. When shafts weren't as good, low torque was better because shafts were so inconsistant that the higher toque would cause unperdictable misses. After reading "The Truth About Shafts" in golf digest, I've come to understand this: shaft torque is all about feel (like PGA Tour players like Stuart Aplleby and Justin Rose using the 4.5* torque Fuji SIX shaft while others like Davis Love III use the 2.2* torque Proforce V2 shaft from UST). So it's more feel oriented then anything, at least when picking between high or low torque. Whatever feels more comfortable to you an your swing is what you go with.

What if....
Yeah I know that you mean, I don't think I've spent enough on my bag yet, I should be shooting 59 everytime if it all adds up to close to $3000.

Tiger Woods Spec.'s
"One thing I've done this year is pretty much take the 2-iron out of my bag and replaced it with a 5-wood. I think the last time I carried it was at the Dunlop Phoenix tournament in Japan. I can get the ball up in the air higher with a 5-wood and hit it 250 yards, about 10 yards further than my 2-iron." This coming from his monthly E-mail newsletter. Yeah, he's not using it anymore at all. He refers to the five wood as being more vesatile and easier to hit.

My new Flat Stick...
Nice stuff, I saw those putters in the Tokyo Golf Fair coverage. It's cool you spent the money and got a nice headcover from Como Come.

Tiger Woods Spec.'s
One spec of Tiger's bag that he has changed for good, and this is coming from his mouth, is that there will be no more 2 iron at all. He hits the 5 wood farther, and he can use it for so many different shots( high, low and such) that he's said that the wood just outplays the iron. As for his wedges, he probably wants more bounce like another one of you said. Makes sense enough to me.

Tickyboy's Bag o Tricks and Clubs...mostly Clubs
Nice stuff, cool to see some new irons in there from Mizuno. What shaft are you packing in the 3 wood?

Demo Day
This is true, Japan is the real leader in golf technology around the world. Everybody is trying to catch up. It's also said that Japan is the intial testing ground for golf equipment that may come over seas. With this said, I hope that someday TourStage and other imports will become more availible here so I can actually try and buy some of their stuff. Chances are this won't happen, but if anyone has any info on import brands crawling over to North America, give me shout.

wtb/wtt for titleist irons
Heh, wow those are weird trades. Sounds like you really want some irons there. I'm sorry I can't help ya out, I'm a Callaway man and I don't have any extra's lying around. If your looking for a deal, and can't find it here, check out ebay, you'll get a wicked price. I got my Callaways (X Tour), used only once (demo set in shop), for $600.oo.

Demo Day
Import just can't seem to find rspect in North America, and I know where all of you are coming from with the fact that Reps and Pros don't like to be out smarted. When I talk to them about a product and maybe add in something they don't know about it, they'll try and tell me something different. It's even tougher for me because I'm not as old as any of them, and punk kids aren't supposed to know anything about what they're using and trying. One Pro that worked in one of the local shops here didn't know that because of the soft metals used in forged clubs, they're lofts and lies can shift with repeated use. I tried explaining it to him but he really didn't want to here it, this all while I was getting the lies checked to be fit with my irons (it turned out that standard was good so they weren't bent). Anyway, TSGers seem to a special breed of people that are outcasted because of their all-knowing; it's a shame, those Reps and Pros could really learn something.

Nice finish on the Tour Bettinardi.

What if....
Anyone could beleive that one. Just look at his smile, he thinks he's looking all happy, but that's the most evil, demonic looking smile I've seen.

7 wood or utility wood?
If you already like the way your 7 wood works, don't change it out. I switched to a utility 2 iron, and although I've gottan used to it, I still kinda miss my old 5 wood. It'd me nice to have both for comparison, find what fits you best.

What if....
Yeah, I've defiantely noticed that, although they have all these "advancemests", the ball still seems to go the same distance. The market for technology is really coming to a stand-still in that sense. They're making the clubs more stable and forgiving on mis-hits but they aren't going any farther. They're messing around with balls but that's slowing down too it seems, they're only really making the long balls feel a bit softer (Nike's new One Platinum). Maybe it's time I started using more import stuff. It seems like with import it's more about the clubs preformance and craftsmanship and less about trying to sell a "new innovation" every six months.

Tour Putters
That TM tour isuue putter is awsome. It's like the retail version but it's got a black finish and a TP on the bottom. Really cool.

pitbull808's bag
I've gottan to hit the Tour Edge Exotics 3 wood into a net, it feels nice and hot off the face. I've heard that it's actually quite long, how do you find it's distance compared to other 3 woods out on the market?

Tiger Woods Spec.'s
Ha! That's funny! Wouldn't we all like to sit down and have a drink with Tiger, just talk about whatever. I guess that's why we have John Daly.
