  1. I am lengthening my MP 32's 1/2" longer than standard. I know this will make the clubs play more upright, but how much?
  2. I have just bought a 9.5 degree R580XD TP Tour with a Fuji Vista Tour 70 stiff shaft. I hit the ball pretty good distances but it feels too light and I am not too accurate with it. I can't feel the clubhead when I swing like I can with my 510TP. It has a Fuji 757x. I like it really well, but my son is playing high school golf and has taken it over. My swing speed is 110 - 112, and I load the shaft pretty hard on the downswing. I have a GD CP-02 stiff and a GD Purple Ice x-stiff that I am considering putting in the 580. I know the CP-02 is a lighter shaft, but I can add weight to the head when reshafting. Anyone with suggestions or experience with either of these please let me know. Also considering the 757 or possibly NV-75. Thanks, DrGam
  3. I had never heard or read this either. I just assumed that MCsub knew what he was talking about. He may very well be right. Someone help us out here... TourSpecGolfer?
  4. MCsub, I did not know that the Z-101 had the copper underlay. Like I said in my post, I'm not the best one to ask. If I'd have known that, I may have bought Z-101's myself. They are certainly easier to find. Resale is important if you try the set and decide they're not for you. Could save you $$$. Thanks for your post. I learn somethind new every day! Greg
  5. I am not the best person to answer that question' date=' as I am new to the MR-23's and haven't played my first round with them yet. Here is what I have learned so far: [b']1[/b]. Satin finish instead of polished chrome. 2. Copper layer under chrome to greatly enhance feel. This is supposed to be the best feeling iron head of all. 3. Slightly smaller clubhead, which I personally prefer. 4. Better quality control in manufacturing process. 5. Will hold their value much better because there were only 1500 sets made. No more will ever be made. TourSpecGolfer knows much more than I do, however. I bought my set from him and last time I checked he had more listed on eBay. He is great to deal with.
  6. Sorry for the confusion... my MR-23 CB's are definitely NOT for sale. I just meant that you could probably find some for $650 - $750, instead of paying the same money for Z-101's. Good luck with the 'Big D'. Been there and done that. Hope I never have to again.
  7. Sorry for the late reply. I just bought MR-23 CB's for $735. They were used, but in really good (9.0) shape. If this is what you want, sell the PING's and buy these instead. It won't cost you any more money, and they're much better sticks.
  8. I don't think it's such a good deal. You're trading your PING irons and $500? You can buy new Z-101's on eBay for less than $700 easy. I think your i3 blades are worth way more than $200 unless they're in really, really bad shape. It would be a good deal for the person you're trading with, IMO.
