  1. Lennie, did you also own the Epon ProII? If so, how would you compare them to the others?
  2. Hard to tell the head size difference by the pics. Do the head sizes get progressively longer from the J to the ProII to the X? Looks like the J and ProII are the same size.
  3. ...Anxiously awaiting the review!! The ProII's are the frontrunner to be my next set of irons! :tsg_smilie_money3:
  4. Is there a huge difference in the playability vs. forgiveness of the Type X and ProII?
  5. I'm looking at maybe getting another set of irons. Ones that are a little more forgiving than my Srixon i506s. I'm a 13 index, so I don't always make great contact and find I lose quite a bit of distance, and generally mis**t some shots and miss greens per round. I like the look of the g-Field CCB-1 and the EPON Type X. Wondering if anyone could compare the two? (feel, offset, strong lofts?, forgiveness, head size) I believe I read that the CCB is cast and the EPON is forged. Would the Beres 801s or 701s be in the same catagory? Thanks.
  6. Just cruising the web and found these. Not sure I'd play them but they sure look different! http://www.macgregor.co.jp/products/nvg2_air_putter.html http://www.macgregor.co.jp/products/nvg_air3_putter.html
  7. uh...yeah. and it happend again exactly 12 hours later. :tsg_smilie_whistle:
  8. Anybody have one sitting around? I'm looking for a backup that I can do some modification to. Thanks.
  9. Just curious if the Hiro MI02 irons are on par with the ones tested here as far as quality, feel, etc. They look beautiful.
  10. Does the hosel configuration affect face-balancing? For example, would you be able to take a Tracy II putter, which is toe down, and turn it into a face balanced putter by having someone like Slighter change the hosel setup?
  11. My current putter is a Ping Ally3, which is face balanced. I just bought a Yes! Tracy II, which is simlar in look, but its a toe down putter. Curious what everyone's thoughts are on the benefits/drawbacks for a face balanced vs. toe down.
  12. I have three putters: Ally3, Yes Marilyn(mallet), and Never Comp Belly(Anser style). I prefer the Ally3 because of the minimal offset and neck. I LOVE the way the Marylin rolls the ball. There truly is a difference, but I HATE looking down at the double bend shaft. The belly is rarely used, but I hold onto it just in case I need a big change. Because I like the Yes! roll, I'm thinking about picking up the Tracy II. It has the type of neck I like with minimal offset, and anser style.
