Update: I switched to a left hand low putting grip and no more yips. I don't know how it all started but I'm glad it's gone. I haven't bothered switching to my old putting grip because I'm putting so well with the new grip. Thanks to all for your advice!

Hi guys, For the last 2-3 weeks or so, I can't get rid of my putting yips. I don't know how it all started. One day, I just couldn't get a smooth stroke on my putt. It's very jerky now. The problem is when I'm on the practice green, everything is fine but as soon as I hit the course, I can't put for the life of me. Any advice? Thanks! Regards, Mike

It's amazing how much better I'm hitting the LFE as opposed to my 983K (which is being used by a cousin while he's here on vacation). Though I've lost yardage, the control is much better on the LFE.

2 strips was enough for me. It is still mostly fade bias but I can draw the ball a tad bit. I have to wait a little bit more until my Launcher Comp comes in.

A noob question but what's the difference between a 580XD TP and a regular retail 580XD? Also, does anyone know what the face angle is? It looks closed, is it 1 deg, 2 deg? TIA!

The most I have paid for a grip is $26.00 which is the bright a$$ yellow titon ion grips or whatever they are called. Worth every penny for me. Swapped out my gauge grip for that ion grip. $300 for a grip is freaking crazy, even if it is a collector's item. Actually, one of the local golf stores as an authentic (w/ certificate) Tiger's back-up Scotty putter. Price? A mere $50K!

What are your thoughts on the Blue Thunder shafts? Is it made by Fujikura? I'm thinking of reshafting my driver with one of these. Thanks!

I don't understand why this piece of $hit hasn't been caught yet by the authorities. I was a victim of fraud back in 2001 through a yahoo auction. Anyways, paid through money order and never heard from the person. I failed a complaint with Yahoo who pretty much said "tough $hit, you're on your own". I ended up filing a complaint with the FBI and such. 6 months go by without hearing anything when suddenly I got a call from an investigator from the Wisconsin Bureau of Consumer Protection (the guy was in Milwaukee). Anyways, long story short. It was some 22 year old punk who got threatened with serious jail time. They put him on a payment plan and in the end I got all of my money back. It seems like you guys know a lot about this person. The Bureau of Consumer Protection of the state should help out since there seems to be overwhelming evidence to lock him up for a very long time.

I think I kinda figured out what I'm doing. I used to never do this before but when I played my swing in slow motion, somewhere during the takeaway my spine angle changes more vertically (aka like baseball). It's kinda weird because I'm hitting the slot perfectly on the downswing. Something that I gotta fix.

Hi guys, I'm laid off at the top of my swing after seeing my swing on a video (YIKES!). I can't really feel it. Can anyone recommend any drills that can eliminate this? I tried doing this in the mirror and everything checks out ok. But when I do it in motion, everything gets out of whack. Am I using my hands to much for the takeaway? Thanks. Mike

Would your friend consider a 9.5? Also LH or RH?

For me it's my plano retail 983K with the stock speeder shaft. But I don't think it's a matter of driver. Shaft is definitely the deal maker or breaker here. I can use the same 983K and use different shafts and I get different ball flights.

I work with manufacturing vendors in China and Japan. There is no comparison. Japan would whoop China's butt when it comes to quality. The japanese are true perfectionists. They do things right the first time around. China half-asses everything and it takes a few iterations and TONS of money to get the thing that you specified to specification. QA/QC doesn't exist in China. There's a lot of babysitting. China is definitely lower cost but you get what you pay for. Trust me, my company is learning the very hard way.

Not for me. I hit both the retail and the TP versions. They both don't do it for me. I don't like the sound and I don't like the impact. Plus I can't justify paying that much money on a driverr. I'll stick with my K.
