How about light steel shafts for irons. Anything lighter than NSPro750 in steel?

I think for the smooth swinger whose swing speed is in the 80's and perhaps 90's, light shafts can be of benefit.

Any early reviews on these?

For those of you that have access to many types of Japan only irons, I am curious to know what other irons are similar to the head size of the XXIO forged irons. I have seen the XXIO irons and find the head size (which are oversized compared to my VG3 irons) to my liking. Thanks.

Would love to see more pictures of the Driver especially the back end of it.

Wonder why they added the crown to the fairway woods? Having the crown off made these very appealing to me. Now they look like any other fairway wood. Hope they perform just as well.

Beautiful putter. Fun story about the originals. My dad had one for many years. Never thought anything of it until I was on my honeymoon back in the mid 1990's in Hawaii. Went to a golf shop. They had 2 of these original putters in locked cases and were asking about $1,500 a piece for them. I started to get excited, found some price guides (before the internet) and found prices to be about $750 to a $1000 in mint condition. Over the years, I would hunt these putters down at garage sales, found about 10 of them and stashed them away in my basement. My last purchase was probably around 1998. Fast forward to about 2015 when I was cleaning my basement. I found my putters underneath a sofa. Thinking that these putters would increase in value over they years, I quickly went on EBay dreaming my purchases would result in an early retirement! To my dismay, it turns out these putters were common, not as valuable as originally thought of and bring about $50 each. Shucks! If anyone is interested, be happy to post a pick of the original. Macgregor certainly captured the beauty of the originals with its new release. Simply amazing.

What is the "beyond power shaft" and why is it so good?

I have the jBeam Glorious Driver with a stock shaft in SR. I think its in the 50's gram area but not sure. Love this driver but if I can tweak out some more distance, I am all for this!

I am looking at lighter shafts for the driver and would like to know what is out therein the marketplace.

So we had an XXIO demo day at my club over the weekend. Very nice clubs with very light shafts. My swing speed increased slightly and hence more distance with these clubs. With that being said, I am not familiar with very light golf shafts and what is out on the marketplace. My swing speed is about 85-90 (smooth) so I think a lighter shaft would be of benefit. Anyone have thoughts on light shafts and what is out on the market and what to look for?

Never played an MP driver. Whats its like? Would the Type 2 be considered a distance driver or more of a control driver understanding shaft plays an important part of the equation.

So can I get some feedback on this Driver for those that have it? I also can't seem to find any pictures of the club showing the back end of the head. I like more shallow heads (similar to Ping) and cannot seem to confirm that look with this driver.

How does low mid and higher CG effect ball flight and or turf conditions?. Is one better for wet vs. dry conditions?

I noticed the Fair this year is in late March. Anyone know why its so late this year? I think its usually in the middle of February.

I am trying to find a putter that helps with a fault of mine, namely I have a tendency to "punch" the ball as opposed to stroking it. Looking for a putter that can help stroke the ball better. I found the Taylormade Spyder helped a lot but I cant stand the looks of it. I am more of a traditionalist.

Does Yamada have a website? Cannot seem to find it?
