  1. Just ordered it. Hope to get it here shipped express in time for xmas.. and hopefully by Tuesday morning. Don't see how this will knock his scotty out of the bag, but whatever. It's probably the least expensive gift I've purchased for him in the past 10 years. :)
  2. Found it! My thoughts is that it's probably a gimmick.. what do you guys think? I've already ordered it and hoping that it'll get here by xmas for dad. http://www.jgolfi.com/shopping/goods/shopp...=1&small=10
  3. Hey all, Once again my father has decided to send me on another quest to find a rare piece of equipment. During his asian 'mini-tour' with his pals, he saw a few people in S. Korea play with a putter that he'd never seen before. he asked some people as to where this putter could be found, but did not get the opportunity to pick one up before leaving Korea. Now here's the puzzle I present to you all. All I have is the verbal description given to me by dad, and that it's a Korean-made putter, and only to be found in Korea (as the other people have stated). I have no manufacturer name, nor do I have the real name of the putter. Description - It has a blade type face with two horizontal bars at angles coming out of the rear and they meet about 3" behind the putter. These bars then turn perpendicular and meet up with the shaft (which is offset btw). The owner called it a [literal translation from korean to english], "Two Leg". Can anyone help? I thought he wanted the 2 Bar putter by Guerin Rife so I went ahead and bought him one of those.. yeah, that wasnt it :( Any tips or leads to the answer would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!
  4. Hey all, I had asked my wife to pick me up the Honma 468 during her trip to Japan. Unfortunately she came back with the 420RF in R flex :(. Does anyone know anything about this club? If I were to use it, I'd most likely swap out the shaft (SS 110-115), but I'm afraid that would lessen the value of the club. Are there any shops that would accept this as a trade in the states? It's brand new and still wrapped in plastic. How much would I expect to lose if I sold this privately? I believe she paid almost $800USD for it! Argh..
  5. Thanks. Saw those on eBay and will be bidding on them. I was just wondering if someone had a set or knew of another place for them.
  6. Hi all, If anyone has either one of these for sale, please PM me! Thanks!
  7. Honma Driver > Seiko S-Yard ? He states he currently has the 4 star 460, but is not certain. So, is it true? Honma go bye bye? If so, I wonder if his irons/woods would be worth something later.
  8. Got some more information. It's the Seiko S-Yard driver. Anyone know of a place in the states that carries this? I've called a dozen shops in the metropolitan NY area and have found only one establishment. They do not carry any of the 'newer' models, and only the TX1 and TX2 type models. Thanks, Brian
  9. Hey all, My father is a long time JDM whore (Maruman, Honma, Mizuno, etc) and unfortunately, I am not. Even though I've been playing with a set of Miz 14's for the past 10 years, I've never really got into the Japan Domestic Market stuff. Here's my dilemna; my father's 65th birthday is next month and when my sister asked him what he wanted for his birthday, he mumbled something like "S Driver". I have no idea what he could be referring to and have searched high and low for this "S Driver". He did state that this driver was well over $1,000USD and was hard to get. If anyone could shed any light onto this mysterious S driver for me, I'd really appreciate it!! Thanks!!
