My bad...

Until last week, it would have taken an act from the Almighty to get my R7 tour out of my bag. That was until a coworker of mine (also an R7 disciple) picked up one of Maru's backup Tourstage (the newest model 325cc version) with a Tour-AD 65-X in it. He pounded that thing time after time into 30mph+ winds with no ballooning and less curvature than I had ever seen. Not only that, but he said the feedback of the Tourstage as compared to the R7 was night and day. He is as long or longer with the Tourstage. Consequently, I followed a similar path and picked up a J33R Tour. It is easily everything the R7 Tour WAS (sold it a couple of days ago!) and more. For those afraid to leave the R7 nest, be assured that there are choices out there worth making the switch to. Just my .02 . . .

1. Nike 58° raw wedge. Out of lotion, so I decided to indulge in my other favorite solitary passtime...tinkering. Gun-blued this puppy and did a pretty fair job of it, if I say so myself. Weighted to D5 and is equipped with a 3-wk old GP Dual Durameter. 8/10 - $50 2. Callaway 52° Vintage Forged + model sandwege. Used for about a month with practice time on mats only.
