  1. Digging deep in the BST here! Stew, I'll take the head mate if its still around, I'm putting a set of these together for my bro.
  2. Great deal there, beautiful irons those, I was thinking as I was reading that an Aussie or a Pom has to buy them, they'd be awsome on links setups. Interesting re monacos. More food for thought for the new epon blades when they come out.......
  3. I have a transition like a rusty gate in a cyclone, done deal! It's going in a 151 and if that doesn't work into a 3 wood.
  4. Carlo, can you PM me re the 302 3-iron head if it's surplus to your requirements, someone should get a sale out of this thread!
  5. Stew, we need to talk more about the KP-X
  6. I looked at the eye2 wedges on the weekend. i use LW a lot for short pitch shots inside 80m and couldnt get used to the ping look, ill have to go the vokey route I think.........despite them not being 'dark'........
  7. Carlo, what's the "DP" dare I ask!
  8. I've barely looked at another iron since bagging the AF-Tour (save for a 302 4-iron) but these new blades look interesting to me. I'm thinking of trying a different iron shaft (NS Modus 3) but don't want to mess with my gamers.......hey - I just justified the purchase.......well done me!
  9. I have the standard 202 15* shafted with matrix Altus LT. For me it's a fantastic combo. It's the first 3 wood that I can shape at will. I'm interested to try other shafts, just can't leave well enough alone I guess, lol. I don't want to break up this combo so thought I might try a similar but different head. Maybe I should just get a second 202. Interestingly, I think the 201 was a bit longer off the tee, but significantly more difficult to hit from the fairway.
  10. As per the title, I don't mind a bit more compact than 202. Thoughts?
  11. Anybody? Specifically sole width?
  12. Stew, can you PM me re the FW shaft please mate.
  13. Stew, what shafts have you got in the vokeys mate?
  14. Carlo, now how am I supposed to work this afternoon after you go and say things like that and get me all excited! How good would a driver like that be!
  15. They are that nice aren't they!
  16. I'd get the vokeys in a heart beat if they were available dark. I lay LW facing the sky in bunkers and it's blinding in the Perth sun. There's nowhere in the world that has light like we have.
  17. Is there a cavity iron with the same profile as AF-Tour? I play a 302 4-iron and it's pretty good but not quite what I'm after.
  18. You will need SERIOUS club speed to launch the Zero with a 43.5" shaft. Be careful that what you end up with isn't a very accurate driver.........that's 25m shorter distance than your 3 wood

My Apologies, no offense intended, just lazy typing on iPhone.

Awsome Stew, simply awsome. Ever think about buying a TM purely so you can change shafts instantly? Either that or sell your old shafts and come and buy an office tower from me! Side bar - why don't the japs incorporate the TM adjustable/interchangable technology? It's been out long enough for them to copy. Tomorrow I'm seeing my guy to build a 102 / TJ-80 X, any thoughts on that combo?
  21. Interesting thoughts here. It seems tempo, SS, transition and I guess skill all go into the mix. I've been working on my tee shots lately as missed fairways have been bugging me. I'm significantly more accurate with 3 wood and like many have been wondering whether a shorter driver shaft experiment should be considered. I do have SS to sacrifice.

I've always played blades and find the AF Tours pretty easy to play.
  23. Didn't/doesn't Sergio use a very short shaft?
  24. sorry for the OT, Tats - no type S fairways in the proshop?
  25. Last resort, surely the Japanese make something like this.......... my daughter (Bianca - 5) has a little golf bag that she's had since she was 2. its approx 61cm. she loves it and flat out refuses to let me get her a new bag, despite her brother (Hunter - 3) having a stand bag, which I thought might persuade her. trouble is, B's bag is a bit of a pain laying it down at golf lessons etc, stand bags are much more convenient and makes it easier for the kids to look after their clubs. to any of the Japanese experts on here, are stand mechanisms available separately from anywhere in Japan that can be retrofitted to a bag? Ive tried everywhere in Oz. any help appreciated.
