the key for me is maintaining strenght by working out a bit, stretching, staying limber and hitting balls occasionally. I work about 3 times a week in the house with fundamentals such as posture, take away, etc.
  2. what the heck is all this talk about Y cutters? I guess your all referring to the way the groove is cut into the wedge I guess. Anyway, whether a wedge has 15 or 16 grooves I'm sure has no effect on your shot, one more groove is not going to help anybody. Most guys on tour are always either spinning the ball too much or too little when you think about it, so more spin or less spin off your wedge really is not going to give you an advantange imo. condition and what ball your playing will have just as much effect on your spin. jmho

I agree with the first response, your begging for a set of mp32's. I just picked up a set and can't wait to try them outdoors, but for now i'm looking outside at a minor snow storm. :surprize: There are a few to choose from if you really want that good traditional look and feel. I'd have to admit you'd have to include the fxt's in there as well (hogan). they are forgiving and look good. Titleist .cb's as well. I'm not crazy about the mp37's, you gotta be dead on with those imo. I think you would like the mp32's so give them a look soon.

Do you know how to attach jpegs and post them out here? I noticed a lot of folks doing that. thanks. btw- much better forum than GD. [/img]
  6. going from a D2 to a D3 on an iron is more weitght than a dollar bill, trust me, it would be like putting a 1 and half inch of lead tape on the back and the difference can be felt and it makes the club feel a lot different imo.

I think they are special order thru Japan. , there was some info out here about a month ago, i'm sure it will resurface now.
  8. Yeah, the heads may feel a little heavier. Usually the rifle's make the swingweight a little heavier, usually a half a point or so. If those irons are D2's then you should be ok, but if they are D3 or heavier, thats not desireable in my opinion. Wish you well

great feedback all. thanks, thats what I was looking for. MGB- what is your handicapp and what are U using now. I hit the mp32's again yesterday at a dealers shop, he has a great bunch of demo's with all type of lies , shaft, ect and I really am impressed with the 32's as well. I think I may be gettn them soon.

Has anybody had experience comparing these 2 clubs. I've hit the new 32's a bunch of times in doors and really liked them. I'm debating on whether to go with the 32's or the 33's. I've always liked the 33s. My index is a 5.0 and my ss with a 5 iron is about 86-88mph. I want to buy blades this year and would like to hear from people who really know the 2 models and what they like and dislike about the 2, or what the difference they think is. I honestly am thinking that both are great, but to me the 33's seem more solid and I seem to swing them better. Thanks :spit:
  13. excellent Story. I believe it. That' s class. :-D
  14. I agree, the golf digest whats in the bag is great. Did you ever notice when your watching golf on Nbc, abc, or whatever network they never pan to the bag. I think the guys with the cameras are told to not even go near the bag with the camera. Maybe they don't want any free advertising.
  15. Wow, ok, those sticks look really cool. I can't wait to see them in person. Nice, very nice. :surprize:
  16. yes, I have one as well. Picked up this club back in about 1992 or so. I never really put it into play. I never really liked it. I also have the matching 3 wood , which i used for about 10 years, i just took it out of the bag last year and replaced it with the v steel. My J driver is in good shape, sitting in the basement. My twin bro used it for 1 season and really liked it. He is a very good player and used to hit it about 260-280 back in the early 1990s.
  17. :) I'm 35yrs of age and carry a index of 3.9. For the last 10 years I've been about 85 percent overlap or "Vardon Grip". I have gone back and forth about twice in the last 7 years, but usually go back to overlap after one season. My hands are a footjoy medium size and I would probably never go back to interlock. My left hand is fairly strong ala freddie couples, and my right is neutral to weak. Overlap is definitely good for me, although interlock works for the best 2 ever. Jack and Tiger.
