What type of grind did you opt for ? Any pics. ? Did you have the heads refinished and by who ?

Alan- for a quick test get some electrical tape - and put it on the heads of the irons. If impact is good and you feel comfortable swinging at that length - I would not change a thing then. Good luck the Z's performed well over the weekend :love:

I have a set of TX tour shafts (3-PW) with Gripmaster grips that are in good condition. Tips are clean - no rust. The shafts are +1/2 inch with an additional 1/2 inch extension to make them 1 inch over standard. The 5 iron played at 38.25". The Grips are on the shafts and are in good shape ready to blown off or whatever method you may want to use to remove. Retails is in excess of $170. Asking $80 shipped in the U.S.

Al - pleasure was all mine - the clubs just got the Andy treatment. I soft stepped PX 6.0's once, the shafts werle splined by Bushkin swing weighted them to D4 and dowled them - reults - I think I finally got the right combination - just striping them at the range. Weather sucks so no play today. Regarding the gripmasters. I love them but have no way of removing - no compressor or needle to squirt solvent through them. Lastly - you should get the TM 300's today with the extra S300 shafts please let me know your thoughts. Andy

I have messed around with black oxide finishes a little but have never got the results that I am after. I just ordered some black oxide concentrate from Caswell (Thanks Paul :cool: ) and plan on mixing up a gallon for dipping. Can someone run me through the steps from start to finish to get some nice results. Tips on head prep, etc.... How many times should I dip the club etc. Thanks, Andy

Shoe, The problem is that we are so much alike and I honestly have trouble concentrating sometimes. This problem does not just come up in my golf game but in all other aspects in life. I was having a hard time that day and it seemed Dad was asking me to do something every shot. I guess I was partially to blame but he does not understand the concentration problem I experience often. I played decent and the old swing was coming around but it just got too frustrating..oh well. Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Andy: Have you hit them yet? Went to a golf store thisweekend and was messing around with putters. As some of you know the eld**k is not doing it for me and have gone back to the monza. Now i feel the need to scrap the whole MOI thing. I used this putter a few times on the carpet and it felt pretty good but was loud. I guess I better make a bunch of putts if I decide to get it. I guess it would take care of my problems with offset. Anyway...I'll let you guys know what I decide. O.K. I became a shaft junkie this year. I just could not stop. Yes I have a problem. Here is what went into my 510 TP this year: 757 stock - just felt to wippy. 757 tipped 1/2 inch - still felt like something is missing NV 65 tipped 1/2 then 3/4 no umff NV75 tipped 1/2 inch - smooth " but there must be something better " 660 TR X untipped - nice but just a little stiff - so 660 TR S tipped 1/2 inch - no happy with the distance SIX X untipped - long but very high ball flight - still easy and fun to hit Just thought I needed to confess. :money:

Dell refurbished are like $500. I hate spending $$$ on computers

Sorry - but I need to thread jack. How does it compare to the SIX ? Looking for a slightly lower ball flight. Does it play to flex or not ?
