  1. Any chance you can another head and a Rombax - lol
  2. Joe - thanks for the info.
  3. How did you determine fit ? - seems like allot of options . I currently play 660 TR S tipped 3/4 in an R7 - and may be looking for something to put in a B Stone 460.
  4. Chciken was good - ribeye's sound better. Shoe - stop by anytime. Chain says he is going to ship the driver this week. SO time for a shaft - first stop a 757 tour spec. Then test drive Al's with T70. Oh - I love winter. I have decided to dump the PX shafts again. HMMMMM - bonus time = TC Satin - sick boy.
  5. Alrighty then - lol :tsg_smilie_whistle:
  6. Settle on ribeye's - life is tough.
  7. Wow - I must have missed that - what models are available in the U.S. ? Do they differ from the Japan version ?
  8. Great info - sanding the area could be scary. IMO Liquid Glass is one of the best waxes out ther to get minor scratches out and really gives it a good shine.
  9. In terms of size - who does it compare to a TM 200 ridgie tour ?
  10. Al - whenever you are ready my friend. Today is a day to fire up the smoker - beer can chicken anyone ?
  11. Anyone have any insight as to what differences there will be in the shafts that re going to be offered in the U.S. ?
  12. Never knew that milling marks affect the speed of the roll - interesting.
  13. Very sweet - but I would prefer satin.
  14. Well we got more than 4 inches of snow here - looks pretty. Shoe way to go on the winnings. Al - ship the driver before this crap melts :tsg_smilie_cool: Not sure if you guys heard - but Chain was in the hospital for two weeks. He is home recovering so everyone wish him well.
  15. I believe I just bought the standard black oxide that produces 1 gallon. It was over a year ago.
  16. Bright and sunny here in the Chicago suburbs - hell I may even take down the XMas lights. Hit balls yesterday at Cloged Hill - felt good to make some swings. Nice enough to play today but I have a house full of neighbor kids and the wife is off to the opera with my daughter. Could be worse - I could be off to the opera. :tsg_smilie_wah: :tsg_smiley_laughatyou: :tsg_smilie_wah:
  17. The stuff I bought from Caswell does not require to be heated. I just heat the head that I am dipping. I never striped chrome but hear you could use sulfuric acid - buy it at any hardware store. A better option would be to find someone that dows chrome work locally an have them strip the chrome.
  18. The Caswell products work well. You dilute the blackening solution with distilled water to make a gallon. They tell you to heat the piece prior to dipping. I then use OO steel wool in between dips and reheat. Works better than gun blueing kits. After dipping let the piece dry and use gun oil to seal. My only problem comes with paintfill. I believe its is bets to paintfill prior to dipping then use a small nail or ot get the black out of the paintfill.
  19. Well no broken bones. We did not go far enough north and got rained out Monday. Two days is better than none.
  20. I want to wish all a Happy New Year ! Especially Mike - I hope all in 06' comes together. The family is off to Shoe's neighborhood to do some skiing and celebrate New Year's. Good luck to all
  21. Mike - I bought my unit at Lowe's also check the website for locations in Canada. You can burn coals and wood or even logs. The main compartment can also be used as a BBQ. Today I have four slabs of Spare ribs going on the smoker. Should be done by 8 o'clock. On the grill I have a pork tenderlion going. After the ribs are done I am going to smoke a salmon filet for New Year's Eve. Ah the last feast before New Year's resolutions are mae an broken :tsg_smiley_laughatyou: :tsg_smiley_embarrassed:
