I'm not stuck on having to have a "blade" for my next set of irons, but I put enough time in to justify playing them. I even play an old persimmon and sam snead 2 iron for fun sometimes... now if you want to talk about unforgiving there you go.
Whether it is a "BLADE" blade, or just a blade-like players cavity is not a huge deal to me, I just want the best looking iron from address and the best feeling, consistent shaft. The part of the game I enjoy the most is creative part; playing difficult iron shots, getting creative with the ball and hitting the shots that make you go WHAT is what I love about golf probably the most. Whether my handicap suffers a few strokes in the meantime while I become better, I don't really care all that much.
