Hitting the ball near the heel of the face??
Assuming your spine angle stays put during the swing, and taking other's advice here, make sure you get some distance between you and the ball and if that's OK, may sure you aren't throwing your arms away from your body before impact. Go to a video machine -- or do what I do - take a lesson.

Hitting Wedges Fat!!
Try clanging the knees to get that weight to the left side. It'll liven things up. (right knee to hit left knee at end of forward swing)

Mizuno guidance required - custom builds and MP32/MX23
Haven't played the 32s but have read many posts on them - supposedly a bit more forgiving than the 33 with a lower ball flight. I have played the MX-23s for 1.5 years -- forgiving, soft feel when you contact the ball spot on, higher ball flight. I use Nippon 1050s but you can lower the ball flight a tad with your shaft choice. While I think the long irons are forgiving, I just go 5-PW and have the new CLK for the 20 and 23 club. The Exsar shafts in the CLK are not bad -- they seem stout enough and keep the ball flight in a high mid penetrating flight. Just a thought in case you are custom ordering and don't want the whole 3-PW package.

tksputters.com.....Opinions, please.
Todd responds to emails quickly, will get the product out to your quickly, and will adjust the putter for you -length, lie. Also, if ever want the putter refinished, new shaft, band, grip -- Bettinardi will do that for you very reasonably. Just call them when you need it done.

NSpro S shaft
I went with the NS Pro 1050 Stiff Hardstepped to get a 5.7 type flex- works for me the Stiff is about a 5.3 - too soft for me

Here's a bump for two great ez hybrids with great shafts.

FS: FOURTEEN Hi-660 3i, 4i w/ Nippon 1050
After demoing the new iron hybrids, I think this still is the best iron hybrid, in terms of looks and performance. Long and Easy. These are the Fourteen Hi-660s that sell new for $245-259 each. The 3i is 20 degrees, D2/3, 39.75 inches. The 4i is 23 deg, D2/3, 39.25 inches. Condition: These things are indestructible - At address, they look new, face looks almost new, some normal markings on the sole - no dings. Great. The flex on the Nippons is rated equivalent to a 5.6/5.7 (Chip Usher did the install). Weight is about 107g. Trajectory is slightly lower than the NS Pro 950. About $143 each. PM if you'd like pics or have questions.

FS: MIZUNO WEDGES MP T Series 51, 56, 60
I would like to keep the same serial numbers together but if you want one or two, I will consider an offer. Mizuno MP T Series - Black Nickel (New Wedge by Mizuno) These are 51-06, 56-10 and 60-05 in 9/10 condition. No dings on sole or back, normal face wear - I would guess it is 9/10 for a wedge. I haven't had them long as you can see from the pics if you email me. Black Nickel is a great look. I am just into grinding and so will probably replace these with Mizuno Raws that someone can grind. The shafts are DG S300 at 35.25 for the LW, 35.5 for the SW and 35.75 for the GW. The lies are 1 up and as these are forged, you can bend them. Mizuno Corded Tour Velvets. These are great, versatile wedges. They feel great, spin well in the DGs even on less than full swings.- I find the DGs a bit more accurate and slightly lower trajectory than Spinners. You can open up the 60 easily and all three are not only great from the fairway but also around the greens. The new shape is more Vokey-like (tear drop) instead of rounded. These are my 3rd set of Mizus - I really luv their wedges - you can see reviews here. These retail at $109 each (USA) and you can purchase the 3 for $205 shipped Cont USA. International Shipping is $195 plus shipping. If you take all three, I will throw in a 56-11 Black OX in Spinner 5.5. Email for pics. Thanks.- J

FS: BETTINARDI BB43 Millennium Anser Style CS
For the discerning few, I have my personal Bettinardi Millennium BB43 (Anser Style and face balanced) for sale. This is a Pre-Hogan Bettinardi and is not sold any longer -- only found on ebay. You can find photos at www.bettinardi.com where they sold new for $750. The BB 43 is 35 inches at 342g and is made from DASS - Double Aged Stainless Steel - (also called German Stainless Steel) which is crisp yet soft (and very expensive). There are brass ingots in the face and 2 in the toe and heel area in the back. This BB43 is in almost perfect condition, The face is like new, the bottom is still shiny and it looks great - at address, it looks new. But the headcover came off on one hole before I found it, and there are a couple of very minor little dents around the heel area. As stated, you can't see them at address but I want you to know the condition. I have put in a Certified Balance weight in the grip (by Chip Usher). Since the weight is on top of the grip, it does not effect playing swingweight, but gives the putter a bit of extra heft so that the putter swings itself a bit more and it helps steady your hands. This cost me $40 and if you don't like it, it's easy to take out. Or I will have Chip take it out beforehand and regrip with a new Bettinardi grip. This putter was bought from Todd at TKS Putters. I know the market value on ebay is about $420 because I sold my other BB43 for that price. But I will also include 2 headcovers and sell the putter to you for $369 including shipping in Cont USA if you take as is. International shipping will be its cost. I have about four pics. Please email me and I will send them. I will also try to figure out how to post pics on this site. Thanks![/b]

wobbly putting stroke
1 Try hovering the putter just above the ground so the weight of the putter is in your hand 2. I use a pendulum motion with a rocking of the shoulders with the left hand dominating the feel. I get a natural arc this way. I just watch for going too far inside. 3. Sometimes I find the putterhead going outside the line on the way back, usually the right elbow has gotten away from my ribs - so I try to keep the right elbow in the rib cage by having a slight bend in the right elbow. 4. The left arm hangs straight down a bit more but it is still slightly bent and in the ribs Try any of the above.

Nippon shafts vs various other lightweights
Ive played DGs and Rifles, Nippon NS Pro 950 and 1050s -- I would think the DG SL would be lighter with similar feel as a DG. Having stated the above: The Nippons have a softer feel at impact than either DG or Rifles. Nippons quality control is touted as very high so you should have better consistency betweeen clubs. Flight with the 950s seem higher than Rifle/Flighted Rifle, Flight with the 1050s feels the same or slightly lower than Rifle/Flighted. I think the Nippons are easier on my elbow - haven't had elbow problems since switching to Nippons. People will contest whether Nippons provide shock absorption - but they appear easier on the body and the feel is definitely softer as opposed to harsh with the DG. The Rifles just don't have the smooth feel of a Nippon.

NV shaft tips?
According to Aldila and their rep's postings, all NV s have a high kick and a firm tip (all have the same profile). I did not find the NV 65 to have a mid kick - it does not get the ball up for me - smooth type 100 mph driver swing - the NVS is a different story - it does have a softer tip and many people, from posts I have read, really enjoy this shaft if one needs/desires more height.

Ping Craz-e putter

FS: FOURTEEN HI-858 2i; 9+ Condition
Yes, it's the hard to find Fourteen Hi 858 2i (18 degrees) - but this one is Special. If you crave a hybrid driving iron that is also great off the turf, this is the one to consider It is 9+ Condition. The metal alloy is harder than normal steel so this face is hot! The shaft was spine and floed by Joe Kwok - in a DG Lite S300 and Joe flexed it to play as a 5.7 on the Rifle Scale, Lamkin G3 Quarter Cord Grip, D3 Swingweight and 40.25 inches Great Looking club, great driving iron and very easy off the turf, a great club in windy conditions. I had no trouble with it - consistent contact and so solid. I will also include the Nippon NS Pro 95 Stiff pullout originally installed. So you get the Fourteen, Kwok craftmanship and an extra Nippon shaft! Make a reasonable offer - it is like new and have about $300 in it - Going for only $175 - Also willing to part with a Hi-660 3i (20 deg at 39.75 in) and 4i (23 deg at 39.25 in), same condition and same shaft. No Trades, thanks, need cash. - Jerry

Nippon N.S. Pro 950GH R vs Rifle Lite 5.0
I have not played Rifle Lites but have played the Nippon NS Pro 95 in a Ping G2 HL 3i and it gets a mid to highish flight with a very soft feel. It does not balloon, it just gets up there. Nice shaft for a long iron or hybrid as Nippons have a midkick. In regular irons (mine are MX-23), 4-PW, I prefer the Nippon 1050s - The shaft is 110g in stiff, less in regular, and feels very solid yet soft. Very consistent and accurate from shaft to shaft. Ball flight not as high as the Pro 95. Both Nippons absorb a lot of shock and feel very soft. The feel is like a soft Rifle. If interested, you need to be aware of the flex as the Nippon seems to play a bit weaker than normal flex. I think Chip Usher said the stiff plays to about a 5.3. He hardstepped mine to achieve a 5.7. So be sure to discuss flex with a qualified Nippon dealer and clubmaker before purchase.

Bettinardi D.A.S.S. putters
I only have two Betts - both BB-43s Beautiful, like a finely tuned instrument. Like others have stated, the Double Aged Stainless Steel give a nice click yet feels very soft at the same time. Craftsmanship is superb and quality very high. Customer service is first-rate and adjustments very reasonable. I found my 2nd BB-43 on ebay and asked Bett to refinish, reshaft and regrip - cost - only $60! A virtually new putter.

Strange NS PRO 1050 shafts!
How did your Nippons turn out now that the 95s are constanty weighted? I see that the 1050s in X-stiff are supposed to come in at about 114g acc to the specs. How is the ball flight, distance and dispersion?
