Nakashima NP-R utility club
The other day a friend of mine got Nakashima NP-R utility clubs with IROD. Don't know if its the shaft, the head or both but it blew away my TM Mid Rescues. Being a club Ho, I ordered a full set of Nakashima Drivers, FW woods, and utility clubs. That's how much I was impressed. Nakashima utility has the round sole that makes it easy to hit from any lie condition. By comparison, Nakashima with IROD was so much more solid and consistent hitting, I mean consistent dead straight hitting even with off center hits with high trajectory which is what you want in utility clubs. I ordered utility with IROD shafts, FW with Aldila NV75 and NP-1 driver with Aldila NV65 tipped. I'm 5"6, 155 lbs, driver swing speed 105mph, swinger type, with 8 HDCP. I think Nakashima FW and utiltiy clubs are defenitely winners. I'm looking forward to spending more time with them when I get it.

Hybrid Shootout TM TP Rescue/TourStage Air Muscle/Hogan CFT
Great review Ari. I agree and disagree. I agree that Air Muscle is more of driving iron and has much lower trajectory. I agree that both TM Mid Rescue and Hogan CFT Hybrid are stupid easy to hit. However, I disagree that except for price that Hogan is more forgiving. After extensive hitting of Mid Recue in regular and TP versions of 14, 16, 19 , and 22 in Fujikura Vista Pro 90, stock stiff graphite, and steel vs Hogan CFT Hybrid #3 and #4 in stiff #4 flex, I've concluded that TM has tighter dispersion and better distance. It also sound a lot more solid and looks a little bigger and more confidence inspiring at address. Hogan by comparison looks wierd at address and has tinny/tingy sound when hitting. Hogan CFT Hybrid might improve if you put in X100 or PX5.5 shaft but even so I believe Mid Rescue has better dispersion and distance. So, I stuck TM in my bag even thought it's more expensive. I plan to put Harrison 1.8 Pro (1.8 degree torque shaft) that has PGA tour wins in my Mid Rescue TP to replace Fujikura Vista Pro 90(2.5 degree torque). It's also 10 grams lighter at 80 grams.

MR23 blade question...
I had both MR23 Blades and CBs. Sold CBs as I am happy with blades even in long irons. The blades feel better for me.

X-Blade AirMuscle
I've got mine last week in a #2 Project X 5.5 shaft from Chris. I' also have #3 in NS950 which I'm selling because it's too short to fill betwenn 3 and 7 wood and shaft is too soft for me. I've played couple of rounds with the new #2 and so far I'm in bliss. I've stuck it close to pin each time I've used it. Feels very solid and satisfying when hit. Feels sort of like my MR-23 Blades except it's more solid where as MR-23 is more sensitive with lighter, crisper feel good for working the ball. I feel more confident with this club as a driving iron off the tee because it's much more forgiving then my MR-23 Blades in that even when hit off center it still feels solid and I get good accuracy and distance. I've had PRGR 200i and I couldn't make this club work for me. Perhaps it was the stock stiff graphite shaft on PRGR 200i but it was not accurate and ball trajectory was too high for my taste. I prefer using the #2 AM over my MR-23 5 wood because of accuracy with just about the same distance. So, this #2 AM will happily stay in my bag. I love this Rifle Project X 5.5. I think I will replace my stock X-100s in my MR-23 Blades with it. Anybody know good dels with Pojrect X 5.5s?
